High dollar plants not taken care of. Dead leaves, soaking soil. Employees busy on cell phones. Will never go back. If there was a zero star that would be my rating.

Mealy bugs! I purchased a plant and brought it home. After some time, I noticed mealy bugs ALL OVER the plant room. I went back to earl may to the same plant I had just bought and sure enough, itty bitty mealy bugs on them.More than a hundred plants and thousands of dollars thrown away that day. What a complete disaster and disappointment. Check your plants over if you ever shop here. Do not make the same mistake I did.

I was in the Columbus Earl May store on Friday, July 8. I wanted help to get rid of Japanese beetles on my birch tree. Chad Ditter, the manager, showed me where the insecticides were. He assisted me in finding what I needed to control the beetles. He answered my every question and explained more about the behavior of the beetles. Bought their indoor plants that were on sale and after bringing home realized they are full of spider mites. The customer service is really great though. I’ll have to be very cautious next time buying from them
