These boats are solid built but I can't really find a reason to get one. There's no open sea/lake and the Mississippi, well, I'm not trying to run over manatees n stuff

AVOID at all costs! Lousy customer service and no fence or secured area for your boat while it's being worked on. Had stuff stolen from or off my boat on TWO separate occasions. The owner refused to pay for what was stolen on his property and his care. I'll pay the extra elsewhere for the peace of mind in not having things stolen from my boat!
