“Needed new boots. My old ones were wearing out but I really liked them. I wanted to get the same boots but the black king toe was discontinued. This wasn't ideal but based on my experience with the boots I have I got the same thing in dark brown. Otherwise, the experience was super easy and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.”

“I have been wearing the Brooks Dyad for several years and have never had an injury, blisters, etc. Unfortunately Brooks discontinued this specific shoe. I've ran my last pair of Dyad's into the ground and came to Peak Performance to find a shoe that would match closely to the Dyad. It's a difficult shoe to match. To me its pretty basic and fits my feet perfectly. Knowing this, AJ called several places trying to find my size in the Dyad. Much to my suprise, he found my size at another running store and arranged for me to call and have them send the shoe to me. AJ has always been great to work with. He continues to go above and beyond to make sure his customers are taken care of. Peak Performance is very lucky to have him as part of their team.

“I forgot to grab some shirts I needed for a trip and was able to stop by and get what I needed while I was out of town. I have almost always been able to run into a DXL and get what I need. This time was shirts they were nice and on sale so double bonus. They also have a selection of shoes for me to look at and try on. When you wear a size 14, it is tough to find places that have a selection of that size on hand. If you wear bigger sized stuff, DXL is great place to start.”

“My goodness. I didn't know what riding could feel like with appropriate, gorgeous, and above all custom boots. Meticulous. Such effortless contact and connection to my horse. I didn't even know ow my other boots were getting in the way or constricting my ankle mobility or interfering in any way until I felt what these were like. I felt so secure from the tread on soles and design/placement of stitching and seams. There is backbone and form to these boots where you want it”

“We came here for my husband's wedding suit after a recommendation from my sister, who got her husband's wedding suit here. The first visit in was the most individualized service, and all subsequent visits have been the same. They offered us a drink and small bites while we shopped, which was such a kind gesture that helped make it feel more like family than a business. My husband completely customized his Samuelsohn suit, they have so many fabric types and Charlie is great about suggesting what patterns and colors to mix. Anything you want to know about good men's clothing, go ask Charlie. The price is high, we paid around $2000 for a 2 piece suit and tie, but for a custom suit (custom lining, name embroidered inside, custom pockets, everything) you should expect to pay more. We certainly got what we paid for, a beautiful custom suit that he can wear for years to come. We can't wait to return!”

“While working in the Omaha area I bought a pair of Thurogood boots here. I’ve bought many before and love the boots. The service and attention they give you at this store is second to none. Unfortunately I had an issue with this pair no fault of the stores doing, however they immediately recommended I bring them in and on the spot without hesitation replaced them. Great service and friendly shopping here. I rarely ever do reviews but this mom and pop store was cheaper in price than others and the service is outstanding. The selection is the biggest I’ve ever seen under one roof. If you don’t buy here that’s on you! This was the best shopping experience I’ve ever had for work boots. I’m currently not working in the area but will definitely be buying from them again and paying to have them shipped to me. Thank you for being a great company to buy from!”
“Took back a pair of shoes I purchased online. Easy process and convenient instead of having to mail them back. Ended up purchasing a pair of sandals that were on sale and used my rewards. The only thing is they no longer use bags for any purchases. So bring your own bag or be prepared to carry a box with shoes inside around the mall.”

“Very nice selection of shoes and sneakers and Boots. Also Crocs. The store is well laid out and clean, the assistance was very helpful and pleasant. I purchased two pairs of sneakers and was able to receive a $20 discount on my purchase. That paid for the socks I bought. I was impressed with the selection that they had I was impressed with the prices. Their clearance rack was truly remarkable, the stuff on it really was worth buying unlike some clearance racks where you wouldn't buy anything on it. I highly recommend Famous Footwear.... Is also conveniently located and has plenty of good parking..”

“This is one of my step-daughter (15) favorite store. It's very so-cal, and reminds me of pac-sun. There are a lot of cute very trendy basic items here. A lot of tank tops, shorts, light sweaters and jewelry. They also have a lot of Van's shoes, canvas and some nikes. I have tried myself to wear clothes from here but they're on the junior sizing.They are either super expensive, or having a great sale so it's hit or miss. I find the staff to be average, a lot of young kids, working their first jobs probably, so getting rung up or other sizes isn't super fast, but just more time to look around. It's right in the middle of the second floor behind aunt annies pretzels.”

“Wife and I came into the store with a plan for our feet and running goals. We were promptly helped by a very kind and knowledgeable gentleman named Joe. A wealth of knowledge and quips he measured our feet, observed our gait, gave us multiple recommendations based our goals and wants from shoes. We tried the shoes, used the treadmill to get a real feel and left very very satisfied.”
