Worst banking experience imaginable. Their system is perpetually down or having "issues", the customer service is slow and unhelpful, debit cards take months to arrive and when they finally do the activation system never works.Take your banking needs elsewhere.

Can't seem to get threw on the phone. Have to personally go to the bank just to ask a ?... sad customer service!! Will be moving on soon.

Went from an okay bank to awful..scary when you have an issue or can't even get them to mail you a new debit card within 2 weeks.. ridiculous!!

This switch to First Interstate has been an absolute nightmare! I would have switched banks already but every location is closed and no one EVER answers any phones no matter what time I call or which number I press in the automated system. I have been with Great Western Bank for YEARS and never had any issues with their service...until First Interstate took over. I am NOT impressed ????

This transition has been god awful. I just got my new card and I wanted to verify it through Apple Pay. I’ve been phoning at least 5 different numbers for the last hour and a half. Apparently the name in their system doesn’t match the name on my card. All of them have told me they couldn’t help me, gave me a number to call instead, and the cycle repeated. With great western, the Apple Pay process took less than 2 minutes.

Ever since the change, the service has been awful. I've tried calling every number that is listed for FIB. It all leads back to the same automated machine. It's 10 o'clock in the morning on a weekday and the automated voice keeps saying it's after hours and to call back during operating hours. The banks are open but you can't get in contact with anyone to discuss account activity. It's ridiculous. This national bank is awful.

The transition from Great western Bank to First interstate bank has been awful. Really need to know my exact balance and been days with no true update. Try to call customer service and let it ring for over 35 min with no answer. Really irritated about this and possibly just going to switch to a different bank.
