Worst hospital in the Midwest. They treat everybody like s**t, starting the minute you walk in the door. Security immediately treats you like a criminal as you go through the metal detectors. (Which I'm sure are in place due to the number of families this place has f**ked over). The cashiers for the emergency room talk down to you like you're mentally handicapped. Once you're finally in the exam room (which hasn't been swept or mopped in months, pretty sure some of the spots on the floor were dried blood.), you wait for hours while several nurses come in and try to upsell your visit. Here for a cold? Let's run a full panel of bloodwork and get some Xrays, you know what? Let's run an EKG and maybe stick you in an MRI if we can talk you into it. Quality of care is dogs**t. If you value being treated like a human and not a wallet, go elsewhere! This hospital should be condemned.

Would not recommend coming here. My significant other threw her back out, so we took her to the ER. We waited over 2 hours to get back, which in itself wasn't an issue, but the pain was worse when sitting and standing and they didn't seem to care. In the total of 5 hours, she got a shot that didn't help but no one came to check in after another hour, so we left AMA. This hospital has a bad reputation, and now I understand. We will not return.

Nice people here. Very helpful. Pharmacy’s in the area out of prescription and this pharmacy was willing to help me.

I really do love this hospital and urgent care. I have probably been here about six times and had to wait twice to get into a room. Those two times my wait was about 45 minutes to an hour. The rest of the time I was brought in right away. The staff and nurses are very nice, friendly, and do what they can to make you comfortable and at ease. I have a very complicated medical history 20 years long. The doctors take their time to listen and help as best as they can. I am very thankful to have such a great hospital within 10 minutes of my house. Now I will talk about why I love this hospital so much. I've seen a lot of the other peoples reviews and let me tell you the wait here, even if it's three hours is not too bad. I had to wait at n different hospitals in Southern California for 6-18 hours. Most of the hospitals in Southern California have wait times with a minimum of five hours. Urgent care was usually the same too. That is the reason I am very thankful for this hospital.

Front desk people treat you like crap and give crappy customer service. The lady couldn't even look me in the face to talk and she had such a rude attitude. She couldn't even answer my question with a decent tone of voice I get it your tired but do your job right as well no treat patients with some sort of good respect.

I had a diabetic emergency after having a seizure. We came to the ER and sat in the waiting room for 45 mins before seeing a doctor. We told them I didn't have insulin on my person due to my insulin site getting ripped out during the seizure. Once we were in a room, my blood sugar started skyrocketing and they knew it was. Still no insulin was administered. After being there for four hours my blood sugar rose to over 350 and they decided to let me leave without giving me insulin to make sure I didn't have to come back again and be in keto-acidosis. I went in for an emergency and left almost worse than the condition I came in. I highly recommend making the drive to the med center over this terrible hospital. My family is considering suing this establishment for the lack of competence and endangerment.

Sitting in the ER for over 3.5 hrs watching another patient here bleeding. Partner is dealing with severe respiratory distress. Staff is treating a Hispanic man like he's less than human. And this is a good day at Nebraska Med.

Excellent service. Friendly staff, they go the second mile to help me with insurance, contacting my doctor for expired refills.Fast and efficient, especially if you call and let them know you are coming to pick up your medicine

my brother was choking and we signed in and they left us in the room for an hour alone and when we walked out our doctor was watching tennis on his computer so we left. not good customer service :(

I tried to sign up with UNMC as new patient (because I am not happy with my current provider) - TWICE in this past year, and both times I did not get the impression that they want me as a patient. So I will pass on them and move on.

Arrived with my wife at 5:30 pm because she was having some chest palpitations. They got her checked right in and in 20 minutes did a EKG. All good to that point. Then waited in the waiting area till almost 7 before they took her to the ER room. Once here we see a single staff member about once an hour like they forgot us. They did a CT 2 hours ago then tell us it takes about 45 minutes to read. Ok, what about the other hour and 15 minutes to get someone in to tell us what it says. This place is ridiculous. Saw one guy stomp out because he had been waiting for 4 hours he said as he stormed by. Another lady and her husband left the waiting room to go home even though you could see she was in pain, because no one would listen to her about what the doctor told her when he sent her in.

I have been using the Nebraska Medicine Pharmacy now for about 7 years since moving to the area. I find the service very good and the prices are reasonable. They have worked with my insurance on some medications and helped me get assistance. The pharmacists are friendly and knowledgeable.

I came in to the emergency room via ambulance with very low blood pressure. I received treatment as soon as I arrived. Everyone was wonderful. They ran all the tests they should have and my stay was great

Can only write on my experience today in ultrasound. Amanda was my tech, and she was AMAZING!!!! They booked my appointment very quickly and took care of quickly upon checking in. The few staff members I spoke with were super helpful. I will definitely come back to this location again if needed.
