136 N Canyon St, West Yellowstone“Convenient gas station near my motel. Average prices. However, I found it inconvenient when I refueled, in a case where the self-service didn't accept the card, to be able to pay inside but only for predetermined amounts without being able to fill up and then pay.”
“Came here after a day in the park, when gas was $4.45 on 8/6/22 (that will date us eventually) but in town the gas is the best price while on the way into West Yellowstone, it is almost a dollar more. Keep that in mind.”
“Non-oxy premium fuel (not every station in town has that) for the sled I rented at a reasonable price and staff that cares enough to pop outside in freezing temperatures to warn us that crossing Firehole Ave. the wrong way on a snowmobile could get us a hefty fine. Thank you!”

215 N Canyon St, West Yellowstone“We did not get gas here, but the price is quite high. The Riverside Station store though is great. They sell lots of souvenirs, delicious coffee and tea, and very nice patches and stickers. The prices are fair, and the guy at the cashier was very friendly.”
“Great selection of Made in Montana products! Nice staff, even though it was busy on the 4th of July, they were kind and helpful. I was able to get everything I needed on my trip, including a bathroom lol”
“We were traveling from MT to CO and found ourselves with low tires due to the weather (-38). Thank you for being the only station with an air hose for use to use. Stay well.”
“My son didn't use the restroom as advised before we left Yellowstone National Park and waited until we were in a store in West Yellowstone that didn't have a restroom to tell me how bad he had to go. I walked down the street and found this Chevron and politely asked if they had a restroom. He explained that it was for customers only. This is an extremely reasonable policy. West Yellowstone is a tourist town and the thousands of tourists would absolutely exploit a free restroom. He was very kind and I bought an awesome souvenir for a reasonable price. Most of the people complaining in the comments want something for nothing. They seem happy to pay the exorbitant prices inside the national park but balk at supporting locals in this tiny Montana town.”
“Great place to stop, fuel up, get snacks, use the restroom and get souvenirs. Engin makes sure the place is stocked and ready to go. Great service and smiles. Our favorite stop in West Yellowstone!”
