About Madison Buffalo Jump State Park
Madison Buffalo Jump State Park is a very cool place, steeped in history, where you can feel the ancients. It is an amazing, quiet place with beautiful, amazing, and once in a lifetime views from the top of the bluff. There are a couple of trails and different pathways to enjoy, including a short walk uphill to an interpretive area and a longer hike around the basin. It is a very pleasant place to stop with clean restrooms. The lengthy, bumpy ride there is worth the trip for the experience, highly recommended for a one- to two-hour visit.
