“I was unable to travel due to covid. However, it appears they were able to rent out my room therefore saving me close to $300. I will definitely look to stay there in the future.”
“It's just a small town bar, but OMG are the burgers good. Locally raised beef, never frozen, all the toppings, cooked right in front of you! Don't expect fancy! Only 2 other items on the menu and your only side is chips.Clean, pool table and you can stay the night upstairs.(For me to say the burgers are good means something. I DON'T like burgers)”

“We loved our stay here and were so sad we only booked one night. Very comfortable, we booked the gable room on the third floor but it was too hot according to or host so she moved us down a floor to a beautiful big bedroom. Great location near Nevada City and Virginia City. We are vegetarians and our host went above and beyond with 8 bowls of different fruits, multiple yogurts, cooked hash browns, omelettes and muffins and banana bread, plus tea and coffee. The house is gorgeous and very clean, and the yard is sublime and peaceful. Highly recommend!”
