“Visited Westland Seed in Ronan while we were in the area on holiday from Britain. It is not really a shop that we expected to ever visit, as we weren't hunting, fishing or feeding farm animals, but we needed a couple of licenses to explore the region. We left with our licenses and very glad that we'd visited, as the staff were enormously friendly and helpful - and entertaining. The chap at the gun counter was full of humour, information and advice, and I think he had a great time gently ribbing a couple of outsiders who were a little out of their depth. Sadly we didn't get his name, but we did learn alot and we were glad of the experience. I also loved the old Grain elevator next to Westland Seed, made for a memorable photographs. Buy your guns, ammo, fishing and camping gear here folks, as well as your tribal lands permits if you're coming from out of town.”
