We always stop by when traveling through town and have always enjoyed the kind, helpful staff! This year was no exception as the two ladies working were awesome! The store has a great selection and we can always find something we have to have while there!

We went in to purchase clothes for my husband and 2 Patagonia luggages for an upcoming trip but found one of the staff (elderly white haired lady) very unfriendly and unprofessional. She was more concerned with one of us wanting to try on a hat than helping us. (Didn’t even ask if we were interested in purchasing the item we were trying on). We took our business elsewhere and wouldn’t recommend shopping there if you value customer service. I’ve never experienced this type of rude behavior from a business.

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. Those of us who traveled up to Red Lodge from Powell today to cook food, share clothing and non-perishable foods with a community in devastation, the owner of this business complained that we were blocking foot traffic to her store!! We had over $4,000 in donated money and goods to help serve this beautiful community and all she could worry about was foot traffic to her business?? Her selfishness didn't stop us or even slow us down!! To the owner, you need to kill the cold in your heart and learn to care about others!! Your behavior today was appalling!! I hope when your say of need happens, and it will, you'll realize what it means to care and help! Meanwhile, I encourage shoppers to choose ANYWHERE but this selfish woman's business!!

Great selection of clothes and shoes. Was looking for something to give my son and found some amazing winter boots. Received great customer service, him walked me to the spot I didn't even notice. I also saw some cute camping dishes, backpacks and blankets. So many great items but I ended up just buying the boots for my son. Might go back again tomorrow.

My husband and I shopped there on 7/13/21 and my husband bought a nice hat. we had our very small and friendly shih-tzu dog with us and the sales people were very nice. The next day, 7/14/21 we went back in the store to shop again. We walked in with our little shih-tzu dog and was immediately harshly reprimanded by a very unfriendly sales woman. While they might have nice products in this store, they apparently will try to get your money at any cost. My husband found a north face pullover that was originally $149. It was on a sale rack that said 50% off (underneath it said as marked) there was a yellow tag that said $111. But we figured they meant 50% off of original price. My husband bought this and another item. I walked back to the store to return item when we realized they charged $111. The lady looked at me like I ate p*** for breakfast and said "up to 50% off" and she would not refund sale items. I looked on the sale rack again and it CLEARLY said 50% off.To imagine that they would loose a customer (we're locals) and get a bad review over this amount of money says a lot to me.

I called to make sure that they had men's jeans and they did! The person that helped me was so nice, and genuinely helpful with everything I needed! I would highly recommend a stop at this shop! They have super cool stuff to look at and shop through, and the staff are great!

Loved the selection and the helpful sales staff. I went twice - bought both times (in the same day!) - and brought friends in. I also discovered a new clothing brand (Soybu) there. An all around positive experience.

The staff is helpful and the selection is always a treat. There's a little something for everyone, no matter what the age and I found the prices quite reasonable. I have my own shoppe in Cody and having paid wholesale for as many years as I have, I know for the quality, the prices are just as they should be. Thanks Village Shoppe!

Clothing selection is great, however the prices feel fairly high and the staff is unfriendly. My family and I have been coming to Red Lodge my whole life, stopping in nearly every time to shop here, and the only memorable experiences here were negative ones. We have been consistently followed closely around the store (which makes me feel either pressured to buy or like a suspect for theft), I've been snapped at for taking pictures of clothing I'm interested in, and have experienced other instances of staff being outright rude to my family members. Generally, I think of the Village Shoppe as a place to window shop, but not hang around in.
