McGowan Grocery is a small, local grocery store and the best around. It is a little high or a bit expensive, but not bad. The store carries a lot and has a wonderful selection considering its size, including local meat and produce, wonderful steaks, and some organic options. There is not a massive selection, but suitable replacements for most things can be found. The friendly staff provides service with a smile and works really hard. The store is open after 6pm and on Sundays, allows online orders and pickups, and accepts public assistance programs. It uses paper bags, never plastic. The parking lot is too small, but customers feel lucky to have this store.

1st time there. I was surprised at all they have, compared to the Grocier in Hot Springs. A little high not bad. Will be my go to grocery store ,when I don't want to go to Polson or Missoula
