I took my Subaru in and everyone was very kind and down to earth. He wasn’t pushy with repairs you don’t need and talked to me, not at me. There was a fee for diagnosis, but I felt it was pretty thorough, so overall not too bad.

I was told over the phone that a “visual inspection is free”. Took them all of 30 min and was charged $50. I may not be a mathematical genius but I’m pretty sure $50 equals more than $0. So I inquired and received a snappy “Well, I gotta make money” response. So leaving with a half a non-descriptive $788.00 quote and a less than empathetic interaction has me feeling unnecessarily swindled and absolutely rethinking my decision…..Ps. The parts they quoted to replace were less than a year old and I ended up fixing it myself with a new motivation and a short conversation at O’Reilly’s. Ur response is a bold face lie. At no time was I told I was gunna be charged or else I wouldn’t have signed whatever ur talking about and I was at the casino just down the road for not even an hour. I’m not impressed with ur silver tongue. The low road isn’t always the right road for a reputable business to choose

Admitted to using the wrong o ring on my A/C and made an attempt to make it right offering a refund. But called me less than 5 minutes later to tell me he won’t, that over a 110 degrees heat in a dessert isn’t life threatening, that is where my Freon sprayed over the engine bay less than a thousand miles after he performed the work rendering my A/C useless. Oh and he added a comment about people in Mexico not needing A/C, I’m Hispanic, and when I mentioned that’s offensive he blamed me for interpreting that as a racial remark.Later he said he doesn’t work on Subaru WRX’s and said that he listed that which there is no mention of that at all. No mentions of that on the website, over the phone, or when I dropped my WRX at the shop.Really wish I can give less than a one star rating. Be warned, take your car somewhere else that stands behind their work and provides decent customer service.

Instead of paying high dollar for a new car, taking on another payment, or getting into someone’s used nightmare, we decided to take our Subaru in to Wes’s Wagons to have work done on it. For $1276.74 they basically overhauled the engine allowing us to get at least another hundred thousand miles out of it.I highly recommend this mechanic for several reasons. First off, we were supposed to drop it off before June 5 for them to start the work on June 5. They called us on the morning of June 5th to tell us that our vehicle was done? Second, they shot us a $1200 quote and when we paid the bill it was $76.74 higher than the quote but even so they completed a bunch of additional repairs bringing everything under budget in the end!! Very happy with the service at this shop - have been looking for a shop that I could count on for Subaru repair and maintenance for some time and I have found him. He’s honest and efficient and really knows his stuff.
