"One star is too generous for the experience we had with Missoula Subaru. When we initially reached out to purchase a vehicle, we were appalled by their limited inventory and the additional charges and freight they demanded. Not only did they require paint protection and fabric and leather protection, but the pricing was well over the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). We ultimately found a lease option elsewhere that saved us $150 per month, totaling a staggering $5400 in savings. It's absolutely ridiculous that this dealership operates in such an exploitative manner. Avoid at all costs."

From sales to service this place is a disgrace to the Subaru name. Find another dealership/service department.

I went to the service center for issues with my 2018 Outback's radio system. There is a known issue (class action lawsuit, recall, the works) with this radio unit, but the warranty ended in April. Issues just started two weeks ago, so I was told that there was no way that Subaru would help cover costs. The service center's "solution" is to replace the system with a refurbished unit (no new units because of the known faults with the system). They can't get the part for over a month and the bill to replace with a refurbished unit (which will probably have issues as well) is $1975 ($1716 for the part, plus 234 for labor, and another misc. fee of $25). I was basically told that I am SOL. When I asked about trade in they wouldn't even offer a deal to the sales manager when it came to replacing the unit. Subaru has known about this issue, so should hold some responsibility to help owners replace the faulty equipment. I was under the impression that Subarus are reliable, but after this I will not buy another one. Also, they (Missoula Subaru Service Center) charged me $100 to diagnose the problem I researched and had video footage of.If you have a 2018 Subaru, get rid of it before you are forced to deal with this B.S.Update: Gallatin Subaru in Bozeman quoted the same part for $850. A basic Internet search for the part shows the most expensive one at $1400 (from the official Subaru of America parts department), so not sure why Missoula Subaru is choosing to charge so much extra. Highway robbery.

First time going to a bigger dealership. But definitely happy I did, financing was super easy and affordable. Definitely talk to Tom Bond. Super friendly and down to earth. He even picked me up when I had no way to get to the dealership, and called my insurance for me.
