I post on my socials about how much I love my printer, how important it is to have a relationship with the person who is helping you put your work out into the world. This is very much a collaboration. Marcy is an Artist, she brings this knowledge of creating shows and curation to Paper & Ink and it shows in her passion for printing, her skill level, and how she runs her business and the relationships she creates. Every print I receive feels like a gift, like it's my birthday, there's no anxiety tied to this, just pure anticipation and giddiness, I'm five years old when that box arrives. Before coming to Paper & Ink I used Mpix, BayPhoto, Graphix, and a few others, the difference is stunning. Every print I have ordered from Paper & Ink has been worth it. I don't think people fully understand that if your intent is to print your work it is not fully realized until the print is made and finalized. “I’ve been in the store several times since moving to Missoula in 7/2024. Every associate has been friendly and very helpful. Today they really shined. I was near tears due to an urgent package delivery that was not supposed to require signature but did, and therefore was not delivered yesterday to my home as planned. It caused a cascade of financial repercussions so when I arrived at the store this morning and it was not yet there, I was extremely frustrated. The associate I worked with (I’m so sorry I didn’t get his name) immediately offered to call the UPS distribution center and had them pull it out and hold it for me so I could pick it up there. You saved me a ton of money and frustration, I’m so grateful! Thank you for handling my hysteria with grace and phenomenal customer service!”

“I went to the post office on 6/5 to mail off a walking cane. They were rude told me to "frankenstein" a package together if I wanted to mail it. I've never mailed a package like this before and didn't quite know what to do.
I left and went to the UPS store on Brooks to figure out how to package a cane. The woman that helped me was very kind and polite. Her name was Megan. She did an amazing job creating a custom package to fit this cane like a glove. It saved me a lot of trouble and money. It also made my whole day to see that people with geniuine ambition, kindness, and work ethic still exist. What a great experience. Thanks again :)”

Where I went first to try and ship the bloodwork in Hamilton, however, was an entirely different story!!!
I was already a bit stressed, having never done this before trying to get an overseas shipment of labwork in the mail this morning at the Hamilton FedEx branch. The woman there was not helpful at all and was very cold and impersonal to my problem but in the end did offer to look up the address and phone number for the Missoula Fedex office and wrote it on a piece of paper for me. Also, she needs to remember to turn her sign over from "closed" to "open" during hours of business. I turned it for her as I left the building so others would know the store was open. There is not much interest there to help people. I definitely won't be back !!!!!
If I ever have occasion to ship with FedEx, I will go directly to Missoula!”
