I bought a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership in June 2024. I added all the extended warranties and paid for lifetime oil changes being proactive. The vehicle came with the dealer 3 month/3,000 mile warranty. I pointed out several flaws that I wanted addressed before the dealership warranty expired to the sales manager at the time of purchase. Now the end of August, I've been put off and my "dealership warranty" is nearing is end. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change in hopes I could continue my busy schedule in a timely manner only to find out I was 20th in line. Why schedule an appointment when you wind up having to wait half the day? They don't offer loaner vehicles to my knowledge. No sense of urgency what-so-ever as I observed multiple service employees standing around while the customer's vehicles built up outside the service doors. I have been sitting in their waiting area for over an hour and have yet to see one vehicle leave the service exit doors. I called the service desk and sales managers direct line. The service number continuously rang with no answer and the service managers went to voicemail. No return call. It's over 6 hours later now, 2 more phone calls/ messages, 1 to Dan himself, which is course went to voicemail. Pure proof of unprofessional business management. They're proving why you shouldn't do business at lithia!

Gave 2 stars because the service advisor advised I should really get the oil changed every 1,000 miles. This after I told him “I do not want an oil change today”. I told him “I’m here for the Toyota Care service only”, and that my husband changed the oil 1 month ago.
He printed the work order and it still had “change oil” on it! I crossed out that line order and he repeated that I should really have the oil changed every 1,000 miles. We ALL KNOW that is unnecessary, especially if you’re using Full Synthetic oil!
He said what he said because I’m a woman! He should’ve considered that “not all women are clueless about vehicle maintenance!” So now I Do Not trust what the “Service Advisor” has to say…
I am happy, however, with the actual work done in Service. Service person gets 5 Stars!

Extremely poor customer service. Would not recommend. They will not negotiate at all on price, and they treat you like you are stupid and trying to cheat them if you try to get a little better deal. On top of all that is. There is zero privacy when giving out your info and the sales rep doesn't mind just blurting out your ssn in front of everybody in the whole store, then has the nerve to say that they protect your privacy! Wouldn't even recommend this place to my enemies.

100% would not recommend. Told us we were approved, wouldn’t respond. Reached back out several times. Drove down to Missoula, would not text us back after asking if they could shoot our credit to a few more banks to see which offered the best interest rate. Told them go ahead. Said we got approved, asked what the payments, interest rate and trade value for current vehicle was. Dropped off the face of the planet. Waited a week, reached back out. Nothing. Thanks for knocking my credit down for nothing lithia!

2 hour oil change, For a appointment, scheduled service.
Nice shuttle service, I was first appointment at 8:30 and left the service department at 10:20.
Under staffed, for the demand, full waiting room, and a line to drop off vehicles.

Getting a vehicle from Lithia Toyota of Missoula has been an absolutely brutal experience. My initial conversation before getting the vehicle seemed great but, They took more than 2 weeks to even send my paperwork to the courthouse (which you have to find out by sitting at the DMV for 2 hours) and sold me an all wheel drive vehicle with different treads in the front and rear. When I went to pick the vehicle up and do the final paperwork the people there were very short with me and the whole place felt weird. Nobody seems to care I can’t register my vehicle before I drive across the country and they also still haven’t reset my vehicle so that I can use the Toyota app. I’d expect better customer service after making such a purchase. I’d like to be compassionate but this has been a total hassle and the lack of initiative is unsettling.

In the last 30+ years I bought a dozen of Toyotas from dealers in CA, MA, NH and now Missoula, MT. Lithia dealership was the most professional and the easiest to deal with. No sales pressure to buy stupid extended warranties, no back and forth to the manager for price adjustments. The whole process of trading in 2 Priuses for 2024 Tacoma was less than one hour.

Horrible service . They ran my credit 7 times and couldn't even send me a text or give me a call to tell me if I was approved for a car or not. You would think they would give a damn but they don't . If you want a company to waist your time this is the place !

I had an emergency with my Subaru and needed a quick oil change on a Saturday afternoon. They immediately took me in and treated me like a princess! Shoutout to Jerry for making me laugh while also helping with a super quick oil change. 10/10 experience!

Stopped in looking to test drive. The website shows a huge inventory. This is wrong. I was immediately greeted by a man (never gave me his name) who walked straight at me without saying a word and clearly didn't want me there. When I said I was interested in looking at a Toyota, he said "this is not the place to look, they have no inventory and everything is on hold". I left and purchased a vehicle from another friendly dealership in Missoula. DO NOT waste your time here. Customer service is bad!

Major price gouging with this dealer. They have a Tacoma on the lot with around a $20,000 markup over msrp!
