“I am only writing this review because I feel like the front desk staff should be applauded. Taylor at the front desk deserves to be recognized for her ability to handle terrible, horrible people with so much dignity because I never could. Her ability to stay calm and sweet even when having a grown man yell at her for his own mistakes is impressive. She is definitely someone good to have at the front desk, and I hope she is recognized as such.Ashlyn was so sweet upon check in. Despite being new, she was very efficient and knowledgeable. The Sleep Inn sure has a great group of young women running the show!Thank you Sleep Inn! If we find ourselves in Missoula in the future, we will surely stay here again.”

“Double extra super fine Elk's Lodge. These Elks run it right. Commendations are in order. Found memories of the basement from many years ago. Hell Gate is for sure my favorite Elk's Lodge. Best name too.”

“Hotel is near everything in town. Very clean but really needs an update. Our room was very nice and appears to have been updated recently. The AC wasn't functioning but they gave us a fan which helped. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay.”

“This has to be my favorite hotel I’ve had the pleasure to stay in. The hotel is very clean all times of the day and anytime I need anything the staff is always there to help. The way I rate a place is by the staff and customer service and so far they have not let me down for a second especially Cassidy! She is always there when I need something for my room or to assist in giving me a new key card every time I lose one lol she is great. I will definitely come back here every chance I get they do not disappoint.”

“Jim the owner went out of his way to accommodate us in the jacuzzi suite. With the Griz game going on there wasn’t a lot of room but Jim made it happen. Would recommend this place to anyone.”

“We spent three nights. Our room was in the annex building. The room was spartan with one straight back chair and a semi round table. There were no handles on the dresser drawers. The TV was large with Direct TV feed. There was a full hot breakfast every day. The food offerings were simple and the same each day. The food was good quality. Hot food was hot and cold foods were cold. Staff was friendly, helpful, and engaging. The price was perfect for the accommodations, location, and brand. We enjoyed our stay. I used my Wyndham Rewards points for a substantial discount.Rooms: Our room was next to a railroad that is a main line. Trains blew their horns at a crossing near the hotel. The room was also next to Interstate 90. The hotel offers ear plugs to help sleep. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and single cup coffee maker. A McDonald's restaurant shares the parking lot. There was no carpet.Nearby activities: We enjoy museums, so we spent our days doing historical tours and museum-hopping. Fort Missoula was fascinating, as was the logging display. The downtown historical walking tour was excellent. We ate at The Notorious Pig BBQ restaurant and had a lot of fun with the staff.Walkability: Within an adjacent parking lot are a nice Asian restaurant and a family restaurant. A lovely little creek runs alongside the hotel property.”

“Stayed here in the summer as part of a long family roadtrip, wasn't too sure what to expect based upon the reviews but my family had a decent stay. Our tv wasn't working and staff come promptly to fix it. It was nice we were on the first floor so didn't have to lug everything up/down. Also nice to have the outdoor pool and hot tub! The restaurant next door was excellent. Staff we have encountered were helpful and friendly. Could definitely use some updating but a decent stay for what we needed.”
