I asked a teller to issue me a temp card and mail out a new one. As a result of her ineptitude, I am now being charged late fees on all of my bills because I don't have a card to pay them. She forgot to issue the temp before ordering the new one and it's apparently not possible to get a temp card after your new one has been ordered. I will not be banking here any longer due to first interstates lack of accountability.

My brother-in-law has accounts at this bank and would regularly exchange cash for dollar coins. He would give away these dollars to children as a fun thing to do. He passed away and I went down to the bank to exchange some paper cash for these dollar coins so I could give away the dollars to children at his memorial. I was turned away because I didn't have an account.

Google says they are open at 8am but all locations are open at 9am, even the drive thru. They even had their drive thru green lights on but we're not open for business.

went to cash a check that I worked hard for and working, and they couldn’t cash it because I don’t have a state issued ID. I am 16 years old, and that is not fair to us young workers who can’t get a state issued ID quite yet. So they denied me to cash my check and now I have no other way to get my money that I worked hard for to pay my phone bill and pay for gas. This place is awful.

Second time my account has been robbed and first interstate did nothing to catch it again. They've moved my payment dates around to overdraft my account and charge me $30 more times than I can count. They've basically told me the $350 in fraudulent charges weren't their problem and cant guarantee they would be covered. This bank is a joke, after my money is returned to me I'm closing account immediately.

Doing business with this bank is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. They have a great deal of errors and a huge lack of accountability. I fought with them for years to pay my home owners insurance and my property taxes out of my escrow, the end result was their excuse of they didn't have the correct address (REALLY!). The best day was when I sold the house and paid it off. Even then they couldn't get the amount correct. I had to write 2 different checks because they couldn't figure out the payoff and then I still received a check in the mail for over payment. I received a check the other day from a person who uses First Interstate Bank and I went in to cash it and I was told NO because the amount too high (it was a $1000 dollars). I had a slight fit, it was the final straw. I took it across the street to my bank and they were happy to have my business with no questions. There will never be a good enough reason for me to ever do business with First Interstate Bank!

Really amazing local bank with large bank resources. The tellers/bankers are always so nice and helpful. Having nothing but good things to say about the customer service of First Interstate Bank!

This company outsourced my HSA to Health Equity without my consent, I didn't opt out of transferring funds because I moved and did not get my mail. No notifications were made via phone, or email. When I arrived in person to close my account I found out my funds were in Utah! Friendly staff, but very poor communication with customers.
