First Interstate financed a new vehicle chassis for my business with a solid rate (for the times at least!) and zero hassle. They worked direct with the dealership and every part of the process was hassle free. This is in sharp contrast to the other two financial institutes with whom I inquired about this very basic loan. First Interstate's professionalism and straightforward approach is refreshing and appreciated. Give them a shot for your next commercial loan.

I give this company a 2 star because of a recent money I had to deal with. They quoted me an amount that was half of the global exchange rate. I argue pulled up global exchange rates, unfortunately I thought I had no other choice. This company robbed me of half the money I was getting converted. Wait till your in country this bank has no problem robbing you of your hard earned cash.

We have been banking with First Interstate Bank for twenty years. Home loans etc. Time to move on. The bank seems to have changed quite a bit from my recent experience. True like other yelp comments interest earned is a joke. The first recent bad taste in my mouth is when I saw their large banners plastered all over the Southgate Mall Clock. Pretty desperate or very poor/ greedy decision making on the advertising department. Who wants to be strolling around the mall with a First Interstate add as you walk in the mall and another as you look up at the clock. Oh brother. Maybe it's a staffing thing. Our loan officer, that we had done business with, had moved to a different bank, so we figured we would try another person at First Interstate Bank to get a home equity loan. Brought in the paper work that was requested and patiently waited the month like we were told to do. After not hearing back we did a call in to find out how things were progressing. Well basically a month of time wasted. Just received excuses and a claim of a left phone message. This lady dropped the ball and wouldn't own up to it. She also seemed unexperienced in certain aspects of the equity loan process. I suggest a different bank or mortgage company.

I've had CD's, IRA's savings and checking accounts at this bank for over 20 years and they've steadily been going downhill the whole time. If it wasn't such a nightmare to change all of my automatic deposits and payments I would be gone in a heartbeat. There's a dozen teller windows and only one in operation. There is NO place to access an ATM if you aren't driving!! Really? This is downtown, there's people walking everywhere. In fact, it is difficult to drive downtown (by design) so what do they expect you to do, walk up to the drive-through ATM with a giant diesel pickup truck ahead of you and another behind you? Get serious! I doubt that the CEO of this bank would want his mother doing that. I asked about this and the response was that they closed the one in the entryway because there were to many homeless people spending the night there. Well, that just tells me that the largest bank in downtown Missoula doesn't even have a night security guard. With the measly interest that they pay, you think they could afford a night watchman. What a second-rate outfit! Look around before doing business here. There are better options.

how to go into the building 10th and front straight I was giving directions by an employee and she wanted me to pull in the parking lot and park saying that I could park there and get 30 minutes free parking. I chose to park on the street instead. She actually questioned why I parked on the street and made it seem like I was an idiot for doing that are tamina was unprofessional and definitely a just as I am a 65 year old man. R2 associates of other people actually did not realize I could overhear them making comments about me referring to me as b a y amazing I want professional this was
