My husband and I came to check out a car this morning and John was just wonderful to us. Came in on his day off to show us the car. Very respectful, no pressure, and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. Whether we buy this vehicle or not, we really enjoyed talking with him and would highly consider buying from him in the future.

John doesn’t like to show up to make a sale, he only wants to run things on his own time and bails on days he doesn’t want to show up, he sells vehicles he can’t maintenance an then expects the customer to fix everything he messed up. Hands down the worst car lot in montana. Would highly not recommend him or his business. Due to him selling junk vehicles. He sold a truck that literally made it 6 miles and broke down and can’t honor it. If I were you I would boy cot this car lot cause he is the least reliable, has 0 respect and is the most selfish car dealer in the state and will lie just to make a $1

John was absolutely the most pleasant, no pressure, honest, decent car salesman I have worked with in a long time! When buying a used car, it's important to be practical about what you will get for your budget and John provided me with a great vehicle in my budget and I felt good about letting my 17 year old drive it, knowing she's safe! Definitely recommend!!

This is long, but please read. I usually don't leave poor reviews, but this was the worst "service" I've ever received and I don't want anyone else dealing with the issues I had with them. I purchased an SUV from them in March 2019. and within a week it gave me issues although the test drives felt fine. The engine was stalling, it had no air filter, there was problems with the solenoids, and a few mechanics said there was an issue with the catalytic converter. John and Jim informed the that the vehicle was serviced at Subaru of Missoula prior to me purchasing it. I called Subaru and they didn't even have my VIN on file. I spent money on repairs (John and Jim did pay for one service check-up) however when I tried to contact them about the issues I was having and that it was never serviced, they gave me several excuses as to why they didn't do their job. They also referred me to Unique Auto Services in Missoula. When I took my vehicle to Unique, they told me I had to do a full engine rebuild, which would cost $8000; to me it's not a coincidence that I was referred there and was then told my repair would be expensive. Not only that, I took my vehicle to other mechanics and no one else said it needed a full rebuild. I completed the necessary repairs (out of my own pocket, around $450), and it's now July 2019 and my car continues to give me problems and I will likely sell it. My point with all this is; do not let them lure you in. They are nice at first (when you're writing them a check), but they are no help after the purchase and they do not know what they are selling. This was an absolute waste of time and money.

They sold me a Tahoe for $9000 in April 2019. 3 months later have only been able to drive it a month because of all the problems with it. Now I just found out it needs a new engine. ($8000) And needed the engine in 2018 when it was brought to Karl Tyler but it was never done. I went back into the dealership 3 weeks after buying it to tell them the problems I was having already.
