“You might not know that Bathing Beauties can string pearls. Beautifully. And, I had Katie take apart a strand of pearls and create several updated, awesome necklaces on a gold chain, as wedding jewelry and bridal party gifts. The work was just lovely.”

“I want to reach out and give a huge shout out to Shannon, the person that assisted me with my recent order at Frame of Mind. I believe that she is an incredible asset to the business. I brought in a small painting of my daughter's dog that my daughter had created and given to me for dog sitting her dog. My daughter almost didn't give it to me because SHE liked it so much. I've had it for a couple of years, but it sat on the mantle above our fireplace in a place of honor, unadorned.I decided that I would give it back to my daughter but dressed up and framed. I had been thinking about this for several months but I didn't come in until a couple of weeks before Christmas. I insisted on telling Shannon the longer version of the backstory I gave above. She patiently listened and then proceeded to present different alternatives of how I might like the picture formally presented. I know nothing at all about art (except that I know what I like!) and Shannon gradually educated me, with patience and sensitivity. We arrived at a matting color and framing choice that she and I agreed upon. All in all, I probably took 20-30 minutes of her time, but it was super enjoyable as Shannon made me feel comfortable and at home in an area in which I have absolutely no expertise.The upshot is that despite the short notice, the painting was matted, framed, and finished before Christmas. My daughter absolutely loved it. She thought that the matting color choice complemented her painting and that the framing was perfect. More to the point, she was thrilled that her piece of art was treated with such obvious respect. She loves making art and I made it clear to Shannon that I wanted a treatment that reflected my respect for her art, not to mention my love for my daughter as well as the subject of the painting. Mission accomplished!Thank you, Shannon, for helping me with the beautiful presentation of what I am certain will be a lifetime Christmas gift, hung in a place of honor in my daughter's home. I felt like I was talking with a friend when working with you, someone who showed me compassion and care. I think that is unusual in today's world, where too often a customer can be just a number or a face. I greatly appreciated your thoughtfulness.”

“The staff turned in my lost wallet frok out of state, so they get huge ups! Only taking off a star because the stock on so many supplies was incredibly picked over. I haven't been home in years so I'm not sure what has changed or why, perhaps supply chain stuff.”

“Since covid, they have cleaned and organized to the hilt.??? Things seem very clean, employee's are following safety protocols and everyone seems super sweet and helpful. I'm getting lots of projects done these days and fun art stuff. Some of the shelves look really low right now, but I like seeing fabric in person instead of online. I hope this store stays put. I love it.Update...covid has left it's mark by making people not want to work. Joann's is understaffed and boxes with new merchandise are all over the place. I feel like my cart and I are in an obstacle course. I had to move boxes to be able to reach things on the display walls. Oh well...I still like this store.”
