“I'm new to town, but it seems like a decent enough Walmart. Has a neat mural in the front entrance and they have a good selection of products. It's nice to see how they cater to the local population by having a larger than average hardware section, automotive, western wear, etc.”
“As I'm driving across Montana, I remembered that I need to send a birthday card and I don't have one with me in the Sprinter van. A quick stop here and now I have a birthday card and I also picked up another pair of jeans. The weather has changed ahead of me and I'm needing more warm pants for the journey. The store is decently laid out and stocked unlike some other Walmarts I have been to lately. Plenty of options to choose from in the greeting cards and they actually had TWO pairs of jeans in the size I need and the color I want. Self-checkout worked fine and I did not need assistance today. “I used to be very hesitant to stop into any Murdoch's store as i errantly correlated them with Murdoc. Murdoc is Angus MacGyver's most frequent antagonist, and a member of Homicide International Trust (HIT) and master assassin who never fails – except when MacGyver gets involved. Murdoc is an accomplished pianist, a master of disguise, as well as creative and highly skilled in the use of booby traps. He is also fond of heavy weapons, including flamethrowers, bazookas, and dynamite, some of which they sell @ Murdoch's (tannerite, rifles, propane torches). I have since wised up. That said, I live three hours away from the nearest Murdoch's so i seldom get to stop in.
I did recently discover that they carry Pine Ridge BBQ sauce and the Sweet Mustard that Pine Ridge makes - both I'm big fans of. So I've ordered a couple of each online and had delivery within 2 days, which is rare for western NoDak. We seem to be the place The Pony Express sends its oldest horses, as the mail is suspect, at best.”
