If you’ve read any of the history of the Lewis and Clarke expedition and you’re in the area, you’ve definitely got to stop here. It’s got a great little museum with some artefacts from the area and the original camp. It’s only a short walk around the site to see everything too. The receptionist who was there while I visited was super friendly and helpful as well! Well worth a visit.Restrooms: They’re available here.

I am not sure why they don't put in a dry camp for people who are traveling. There is so much open fields to park. Come on think about it travel roost.Restrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: GreatPicnic area: Tables could be closer to the parking area. So you don't have to carry your coolers a mile.

Extended parking spaces for rv's or boat trailers, but fee area if you want to use the picnic area or trails. We didn't. Also a museum on site but we didn't go in.

Open/closing times should be updated. They apparently close at 4:20pm not 5pm.
