I called in today because I had no internet. I work from home therefore internet is VERY important. A gentleman named Tim helped me and was able to get my internet up and running!!! The next tech was not available until about 5 days out but he looked into it and worked on my router remotely as I had expressed that I would need internet well before then. I knew it was not a guarantee that it would work, but the fact that he was willing to try was greatly appreciated (and it ending up working). He was very helpful, quick and went above and beyond. I can't express how thankful I am!

We have had Wispwest for a couple years and it constantly goes out. We call and complain and they don’t do anything about it except say there are no outages and we will talk to a tower tech and get back to you and never call back. There customer service and internet is very poor. I would think about other providers who actually have good customer service and actually provide product you pay for.

We’ve had Wisp West for several years simply because there are few Internet service options in our area. Their service is unreliable, down constantly and customer service is horrible.

We have had you out to our place in the last little bit and you still can't get things right. We still can't connect to wifi calling and you give us excuses about it. Maybe we should start looking.

Terrible service, cuts in and out alot, sometimes unusably bad, we have the 20mb download plan and are barley getting 5mb on a good day. We asked for a static ip plan 4 days ago and they promised it would be done by three that day, we still have not gotten a static ip and that was 4 days ago. terrible customer service and very bad value. we are switching plans as soon as we can.

Giving them one star is being kind. The tech support and customer service is a failure at best and you can expect to pay $60 a month and still not have internet. I wish we had other options in the valley. I have for 6 months been trying to resolve their issue of delivery of internet to my house. I have purchased two new routers at their suggestion and now have their own router in my house. Still the internet is down more than up and their tech support keeps repeating the same things as if the only thing they know how to do is read a pamphlet. It seems as if their motto is over charge under deliver.

Service started out great. Then after about a year, we started to lose speeds. Got bumped up to "Tier 2" I don't know how many times only for nothing to get fixed. And the cherry on the sundae, they told my wife that they have been sending emails to me about "deteriorating service" and there was nothing they can do. That was false, and I've not gotten any emails about that. Do not recommend unless you like getting jerked around for months with no payoff.

This is the second house were wisp west is the internet provider and the service is horrible again! I can't place orders, do work and so on because of the constantly dropped service! Beyond ridiculous!

I originally had problems with service dropping, slow connection but that was years ago. They have really upped their service. At least in the Madison Valley where we are. Technical services always call back even if it is a weekend.

September 07, 2021Never got itemized statement during 21 months of serviceAlthough I was renting their equipment, they now say that “it wasn’t paid for” & I “needed to drive from West BZN to Livingston to return it - as they were too busy W/ new installations to pick up Modem.”Since I had already paid over 21 months almost $60.00/ month - & there were regular outages for days & didn’t work when storms or windy - as tall Trees on west side blocked access to tower - they insist I owe $150The equipment is now obsolete - so besides paying up front - I believe - over $100 - they tell AMEX THAT THEY Want an additional $150My advice : report them to FCC!

The internet service they offer is sub-par at best (that's actually being kind). When they advertised to provide 35 down/5 up speeds they delivered no more than about half those numbers on the best of days.....usually less. They recently trumpeted that they were increasing our speed to 50 / 5 for only a modest increase in our monthly price. The result? I just ran Speed Test (Ookla) and it's 7 down and 2 up. This is a marginal speed at best for working from home (or anything else, really). A couple of months ago I went and also subscribed to my cell provider's [begins with a T] 5G internet service (at only 2/3 the cost of Wispwest) as a backup provider as working from home means I have to have good internet all the time. I ran a Speed Test just now and the speeds being delivered by that service at about the same time as the Wispwest measurements above are 53 down and 58 up......that's right, crazy upload speeds. The 5G provider's speeds have been as high as the 70s both down and up.So my recommendation is to hook up with Wispwest only after trying and exhausting all other internet options available to you. What they deliver is garbage speed-wise.....which means that whatever you pay, it's too much.UPDATE: The reply from Wispwest says to call them to discuss. Tried that a couple of times in the last week......both times, I had to leave my number for a call back.......and then never heard a peep from them. Isn't that rich? My recommendation stands.....unless you have no other options, avoid Wispwest.
