Great sandy, beachside park. Area for swimming and playing in the water. At least one floating dock that I saw. Great green area for playing and picnicking. Good bathrooms attached to the library. Comfy benches. No problem finding a parking space.
Playground: Small playground available.
Dog-friendliness: I didn't see any dogs, but I didn't see signs saying no pets allowed
Picnic area: Covered picnic tables available

Very nice beachy area for kids and young adults. The beach is made of small rocks, fyi. Small gazebo areas with picnic tables and very nice views all around. Swimming off of the docks is permitted and there are ladders to get out of the water.

Awesome place, The wind had really picked up today so it was very breezy but beautiful views, lovely homes and just a nice place to hang out with a good good restroom!

Great place for the family or too allow your young kids to go hang out without problems. Highly recommend Volunteer Park for a peaceful spot on Flathead Lake. Rock beach is the only downfall IMO. But, overall one of the best spots on the lake! Pizza, bar, coffee shops all within walking distance. Yes, even your cocktails can come to the beach with you from Spinnaker's Bar and grill!
Playground: Rock sculptures for the kids too play on. 5 docks and 3 swimming platforms with a roped off swim area.
Restrooms: Public restrooms
Picnic area: 6 Gazebo's with picnic tables. No BBQ pits. NO DOGS ALLOWED

Restrooms: Bathrooms were kind of musty and were out of soap in both men's and women's when we were there. 1 urinal and 1 stall in men's and 2 stalls in the women's.
Dog-friendliness: Not dog friendly, per the incessant signs.

What a sweet spot! The beach is very nice. Walkable to many shops, food and groceries. Beautiful and enjoyable! Great family place!

Amazing spot. Numerous jettys for diving into the water, plenty space to lay either on the shore or grass. Super fun for kids - great place!

Great park in Lakeside if you want to get in the water from shore or the various available docks/platforms. Lots of fun for little ones climbing in the landscaping, playing with driftwood/rocks etc.

Pretty views, great swim area (no sand - just pebbles).
Turf lawn / play area. Nearby food. It's a great place to visit and relax.
