I have been going to the beginning classes for about 1 month and find Iyengar Yoga to be very beneficial to the bursitis struggle. The instruction from Sunny and Kisa have been very helpful to understanding body alignments and the benefit of activating muscles at the limits of range of motion is just what I need. The space is very ideal and well equipped for any size or shape human. Very social as well, so its easy to make new friends.

I've been an extreme sports athlete nearly all my life and eventually forcing my body to submit to my will has caught up with me. The Yoga Room is without a doubt the place to go to work on the causes of your pain instead of your symptoms. The instructors are always careful to insure that students are performing the poses safely with proper alignment, something that seems to be missing from other studios I've been to. Dani has spent extra time with me after class to work on poses and exercises to address my particular pulls and pinches from too many years of pushing through the pain. I look forward to my back continuing to improve with more classwork and time.

This is s great yoga studio. If you are looking to improve posture, increase strength, heal or prevent injuries then this studio is for you. The instructors are incredible. They tailor exercises to fit your needs. It is a work out I always feel great after. More relaxed, a little sore but energized.

I'm an 70 + woman with arthritis and heart valve problems. I almost quit in the first month. I felt it was way too strenuous for me and they should have a special class for the olf folks. Decided to tough it out one month since I'd paid for 6 months. Now almost to 4th month and am so glad I am doing this. Found a teacher I feel in sync with an have been impressed with all the coaches attention to everyone's special needs. My neck, hip and back are strong enough to garden without pain and i now look forward to going to sessions. They are still difficult but the benefits I am experiencing are far beond my expectations. Stick it out when it seems too tough. You'll be glad you did.

The thing I love most about Iyengar yoga is how it really makes you think about your body in space. As a scientific person, I really enjoy geeking out about different muscle groups and how they all need to work together to create the perfect posture. The Yoga Room of Montana is an incredible place that has started to feel like my second home. I would highly recommend calling them to come check it out!

The Yoga Room of Montana is a great place to do yoga. I was a complete beginner when I started and I can't imagine doing anything other than Iyengar Yoga. It is a great way to learn about your body and take control of your aches and pains. The atmosphere at The Yoga Room of Montana is very welcoming and supportive. There is no judgement in class, only encouragement! If you are thinking about doing yoga definitely come to The Yoga Room of Montana and try it out for yourself. You'll love it too!

The Yoga Room of Montana is a wonderful Iyengar Yoga facility that Kalispell is truly blessed to have. Kisa (one of 3 Iyengar certified instructors in the State of Montana) and Julia are really wonderful teachers and will help you advance physically and overcome physical (and many times mental) obstacles, to better health and overall well being.
