I bought a new washer and dryer in April of 2022. The washer broke and sears warranty sent out a repair. They ordered a part and there I sit 6 months later. I've called Sears,I've called the store,I've called the repair facility. No one will help. This is the worst store ever. I will never shop there again and I recommend you don't either.

Jill and her crew are fantastic! They really came through in a pinch! Buy local!

I want to highlight the exceptional customer service I received from Jill at this Sears Hometown Store. I purchased a Poulan snow thrower last fall and during the winter one of the cables broke that directs the snow. I contacted Jill in late February and she ordered the cable for replacement. Unfortunately Poulan gave every excuse imaginable as to the extreme waiting for the part to come in and then ship. Needless to say it still hasn’t shipped 6 months later. So Jill took the cable off another Poulan in the store and even replaced it on my machine free of charge. She did not have to do that and I was very grateful to say the least.
I will say the SHS is a very nice alternative to the big box store.

We bought a freezer last July 2021 and due to COVID-19 we had to wait for shipment. Jill went out of her way to help us and kept us informed of any delays. After picking it up and putting the door on we noticed a problem with ice forming at the top. Thanks to Jill getting us the extended warranty, they will be here tomorrow. Not bad considering we called today. I spoke too soon.Nobody showed up. We've been getting the run around ever since.

They went to put my mom's dishwasher in and ruined the cut off and said it wasn't there fault! And my brother bought a 2018 lawnmower from there and it was a 2016 and wouldn't run. The owner is horrible and takes no responsibility for anything. Don't go here

Sears Hometown Store still has a trace of that old home time feel but it's quickly diminishing especially in light of box stores and online sales. the nice thing about this story is that you could buy anything that you see on display pretty much unlike some of the other appliance stores around town where the items there are only four demonstration and you have to order them and wait for them to come in. I'm not sure there's a huge advantage to buying from Sears but they have been around a long time and the staff seemed fairly helpful while we were there. although they might be low on staff these days

I cannot say enough good. Our older used dryer quit working which we knew was coming. So we went out shopping for a new set. First stop was home depot (what a joke) they have all sorts of pretty sets on the floor but none in stock, not to mention half of them are also "not in stock" through the manufacturer? Anyway either way we cant wait 3 months for a new dryer. So we decided to check sears. What a relief! The older gentleman who's name I forgot to ask for, was very helpful. They had a great set on the floor ready to go out the door that day! He even helped us load it. It was a great deal, (on sale) everything was very competitively priced, much cheaper than home depot or lowes. What else can I say? Items available same day, great customer service, locally owned...Im a happy customer and even better, my laundry is all caught up ? thank you!!

Ordered a new stove and it took 6 weeks to even get it in the store when we were told it would only take a week. Ive tried to call the store numerous times and no one ever seems to answer and the phone just hangs up. Not sure exactly what going on with this Sears because they are normally very good but this Kalispell store is in need of some serious help!! I won't go back and would rather go to Lowes or Home Depot after this.

We shopped several stores three years ago for an upright freezer. Our hometown Sears store had very competitive prices and we purchased a Kenmore upright freezer. I was very dismayed to find it non functional this morning, just three years and two weeks after purchasing it. I’m very disappointed in Kenmore only working for three years. My previous freezer, a G E lasted over twenty years.

Purchased a refrigerator from them over a month ago when ours bit the dust. They had the color, size, and style we wanted - but said it would be delivered in about two weeks. I figured that for $1600, I could wait two weeks to make sure it was the color etc. that I wanted. It's been over a month. Every time I call, they say I need to call back to talk to the manager. When I finally do, the manager says "it'll be on the Wednesday truck" and it never is.

We purchased a microwave from Sears locally. It blew up only a few months after we had it, and when we asked to replace it, the local Sears gave us the total run around. It wasn’t their problem, we had to contact the manufacturer—which we did at a great time expense...nine month story made short, we have gotten the run around from everyone and STILL don’t have a microwave that works!. We are disappointed and unhappy that the local Sears won’t make this right! The whole reason we purchased from the brick and mortar was because we believed we would get good customer service. It’s been worse than if we had simply ordered something less expensive online!

Bought a new craftsman weed eater Oct 15, 2020, took it out of the box and put it together on April 24, 2021 to use for the first time. It ran a total of 5 minutes, cut about 20-30 feet of lawn edge. when it died and when I restarted it is made a horrible clunking sound and broke the pull cord. took it right up to sears. Has been then 6 days now and nothing. I went with my receipt and the box it came in to just get my money back and they will not give me my money back. I am in the need of a new lawn mower but will go to Home Depot or Lowe's or somewhere that stands behind their products. Will never buy anything from sears again..

Very disappointed. They could care less about their customers. When something breaks they don't deal with you unless you buy their warranty. They make you deal with the manufacturer. A business should really back the products they sell.

Disappointed with this store. Went in a few months back to order a fridge, they said it would be in the following week and they set up a time to deliver it, well it never came and no one called. I had to call them to find out it was never delivered to the store. Kept saying it will be here next week, after a few weeks of playing games, it soon turned into we don't know when it will be here we will call when its here. I went in and got a refund, after they tried to sell me on a scratch and dent fridge instead of a refund. I went to Lowes and had a fridge that day with no dents for the same price.
