This place is getting way to expensive. As was walking around the store I noticed a lot of items that are way over priced. Some of the items are either ebay priced or priced more then what you would pay in a store brand new. They do some good for the community but not when your low income and can't afford used stuff. You guys get this stuff free! I have donated. Plus they probably have crazy tax brakes. Hope thrift has better prices and help the homeless.

My mom and I made a quick stop to browse through the furniture section at 5:45 knowing they closed in 15 minutes. We were met at the door by a man telling us they are closing in 15 minutes. I said no problem well be quick thank you! We were up front within 5 minutes after back to back announcements that they are closing and at 5:50 they shut all the lights off with 3 people in line to checkout. Weird.
When we got to the front we were the last people, they had already locked the doors and my mom wanted to look at a hat behind the counter. The man stopped and stared for a minute like he was frustrated we were still there and had the audacity to be looking at a hat. By this time it was 5:53, my mom felt rushed and I looked at my phone and made it a point to say we have 7 minutes loud enough for the man to hear, then he walked away. The cashier was friendly however the whole thing was a very unwelcoming/unprofessional. I've been going here for over a decade and have donated here multiple times. The prices are getting steep for donated items, $8 for a used necklace you can find on Amazon for $5, thrift shops are supposed to be where people can find things at a bargain, not retail prices!
If you're going to push out paying customers 10 minutes before closing then don't be surprised if business starts declining due to lack of bargains and customer service to top it. It would be one thing if this was a one off scenario however seeing other reviews this seems to be how they now conduct business. I seldomly shop at thrift stores these days due to prices I find better deals on Amazon or at Ross but I can tell you I won't be donating here anymore.

Went at 545 and they told us they closed in 5 minutes. At 547 they turned all the lights off and asked us to leave.
Weird time to close at 550pm, guess they don't want our business. Felt really unwelcome and won't be back. Great hospitality in kalispell, but not this place.

The selection and amount of items is worth 4 stars, but the cashier refused to let us leave furniture at the front we wanted to purchase while we finished shopping. She was rude and we didn't do any more shopping after that. They lost a larger sale from us. Oh, and we didn't get the cart up to the front in time with the furniture, so I had to make two transactions.

There is really nothing available clothing wise for men. The prices are a bit ridiculous.

I’m giving 4 stars simply for the massive selection of this store. The checkout line is typically a longer wait due to lack of staff in the front.

I stop by salvation army in Kalispell often on my way home. Tonight was no exception. As I was shopping a really nice young lady who I see often came and told me I had 15 minutes left. I picked up some outfits for my Grandson and was making a quick run through kitchen area. We donate alot of money to salvation army...until today. This older lady came and told me they decided to close early. At this point it was 5:50. She told me she had never seen me in there before so doubted that i was a regular. Weather was nice and when i asked why closing early she said because we can. ...and in my industry if a customer is shopping .you give them til closing. She said she was getting manager. I said that wasn't needed and that I would check out. He came up anyways and when I told him it wasn't necessary he was pushy. He would not let me explain. And refused to let me purchase my items. He told me if I didn't shut up he would kick me out. I went to the door where he and this old lady followed. He knocked my phone and my wallet out of my hand. I got in my vehicle and noticed he had cracked my screen. asked if I could explain and he said not that he will always have her back. He kept calling her honey and sweetheart. Very weird. At this point I just wanted to get my overpriced used clothes and get home. I started recording entire conversation. He then denied me my purchase and said he would call the cops. I did get upset at the end and literally was begging to let me get these items. I will never give another dime . My bonus every year has gone to the local salvation army. Good thing this happened before my bonus arrives. He should pay for my broken phone and he should not have a job there. Edit. I received a phone call from district manager. No offer to make anything right. I told him I had entire conversation recorded. Didn't want to listen to it. Will not shop there again or give money donations. Super bad management.

I like this place but a guy came up to me and said "sorry but I need you to leave my store" I was barely in there 5 minutes, I didn't do anything, i was looking around. No one else was told to leave, I don't want to sound like a Karen but it was extremely disrespectful i didn't say anything just left but I didn't get an explanation, if I would've been told why then I wouldn't have had an issue but this was disrespectful and completely ruined my entire mood and day. (I used to go there on a regular basis)

Store marks up certain name brand items too high. Fitting rooms are closed but offer returns for store credit. Not great for someone passing through.

Pretty dirty and there is nothing in the store.

Very underwhelming experience, racks are all at least half empty. Not to mention prices are absurd for the few items they do have. However, cashier Suzy was nice. Would recommend goodwill instead.
