I’ve been shopping here for four years and have had many experiences. Overall the check out and grocery staff and nice, but my experiences with management have been not great. In the beginning when I I first got my NPower member number, it did not work and every time I would check out they would tell me they didn’t know why it wasn’t working and didn’t offer any solution so I didn’t get credit for my purchase. Finally I had to ask to speak with management to fix my npower account, and they gave me a corporate number to call. The person I spoke with at corporate was not nice. She figured out that they had entered a digit wrong in my phone number. Which resulted in about 6 months and thousands of dollars of my purchases not being counted for rewards. She didn’t apologize, and refused to do anything other than correct the wrong phone number. She was rude about it. More recently, I purchased a 5 gallon water jug and filled it at the store. As I was at my car, the jug slipped out of my cart as I lifted it into the car and it fell on the ground and broke beyond repair. I asked them if I could buy another 5 gallon jug to replace it at wholesale cost, explaining that I’ve purchased many jugs from them as a long-term customer. They declined to offer a solution and said that I had to pay full price for a new $30 jug and water. Obviously that is their prerogative, it was my fault for letting it drop in the parking lot, but it would have been good customer service to sell a replacement to me without markup to give me a little break in that unfortunate situation instead of profiting off of the accident. The manager who I spoke with about this also mentioned multiple things about customers who “steal the 5 gallon jugs” potentially implying that I was trying to steal. It was an odd experience and didn’t seem like good customer service, especially with a loyal customer.Additionally, every time I buy lemons here they mold within 24-48 hours. This has happened 20+ times in the years I’ve shopped here. I let the manager know and they had no solution and took no action.

The store is great but the smell is unbearable. It's has that funky herbal supplement smell. Like my groceries that I got 2 weeks ago smell like the store.

This stores sells over priced, old lettuce. Purchased lettuce got it home and it was orange and brown, went back day after purchase to return and manager Bryn wouldn’t return it, said he didn’t know when i purchased it and would not look up on account to verify. Had to go back home to get the receipt and bring it back in. The old lettuce still being sold on their shelves. I’m a regular customer there and disappointed in the way the manager treats their customers over 5.00 lettuce and their attitude and professionalism.

I'm from Oregon and this was the only store that wasn't insane during the pandemic. Been shopping here for 3 months and I still love it. Good place to get einkorn (real wheat) pasta too

Bummer - Natural Grocers wouldn’t let me exchange the Plain (sweetened - uggg) SoyMilk for the unsweetened. My receipt is in their system w my phone # but the Store Mgr tells me they aren’t able to utilize their technology and I need a paper receipt. And even then, only 2 items could be exchanged.Oh she told me I could call Corporate and get their permission.Sheesh - can’t remember the last time I couldn’t exchange an item.

Natural foods is always consistent and I love that!Friendly staff even 3,000 miles from home.I do wish they didn’t have a limit on the avocados though.This store doesn’t have locked bathrooms like home and that’s nice since ours we have to ask someone to let us in and I hate bothering people.Store was very cleanVery organized and shelves were stockedThe cashier was kind and reminded me of the free bag I got as a member and that was helpful as we are traveling and I didn’t have many bags to spare.Thank you natural grocers!
