Man this place is reviewed highly on here but it was definitely not my experience. We waited over an hour for appetizers that came out cold to start, and when I got my food the meat was very rare, almost liquid as I bit into it. The waitress kindly took it back and brought me another and then told me I’d get my fries for the dish too, which I never got. So to sum it up, I waited a long time, got sub par food, and then left feeling pretty unsatisfied.

Mackenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub offers a delightful dining experience with its inviting atmosphere and diverse menu offerings. Upon entering, you're greeted by spacious booths, tasteful decor—including charming birch trees in one section—and a classic pub ambiance complete with a well-stocked bar offering a variety of options.Our visit was prompted by a specific craving for Poutine, which we confirmed via phone beforehand. Although not listed on the menu, our waiter clarified that while they technically didn't have traditional Poutine, however, due to a Poutine burger that is on the menu, the available ingredients could be used—a workaround that was able to satisfy our craving.The Poutine was a definite highlight of our dining experience, especially for my family who joined me for the first time trying. As someone who has sampled Poutine in both Canada and the US, I would confidently rate it a 4/5. The fries were perfectly cooked, offering a satisfying crunch, while the rich and beefy gravy paired impeccably with the delectable chunks of cheese curds.Moving on to the sliders, they also earned praise for their quality meat and house-made pickles, which added a delightful touch. However, I couldn't help but notice a lack of seasoning, particularly salt and pepper, which slightly impacted the overall flavor profile. Despite this minor critique, they still garnered a commendable rating of 3.5/5.While our dining experience had its highs, the Black and Blue steak bites unfortunately fell short of expectations. The cooking process seemed to have faltered slightly, as the meat entered the pan with excess moisture, hindering proper caramelization. Additionally, the excessive saltiness and lack of black pepper further detracted from the overall enjoyment, leading to a rating of 2.5/5.Riley, our server, truly exemplified top-notch service during our visit. His upfront communication, poise, and seamless navigation between tables showcased a level of professionalism that exceeded expectations. Not only did he gracefully attend to our needs, but he also anticipated them, demonstrating an exceptional level of attentiveness and hospitality. In every aspect of front-of-house service, Riley surpassed our expectations, leaving a lasting impression of excellence.

03/03/2024 Been coming here for years, burgers are always done perfectly and a solid go-to. Used to love the pizzas, the specialty options offer something for everyone, toppings were loaded on and were so. Damn. Good. I was absolutely craving one of their pizzas last night but didn't even eat all of it. Extremely disappointed. They recently changed their crust to this frozen premade crust that is unbearable. I think they changed the cheese as well, it was so rubbery. Would now recommend little Caesars over their pizza. I never leave reviews and I hate doing this to you, Mackenzie, but I feel betrayed lol. I will gladly change this review when the crust returns.

Good food, there soup is hit and miss and it's expensive for soup but everything else is pretty good.

Great service. And I had a burger and French onion soup. It was great. I was here for lunch, but this place looks like it would be a great dinner spot with lots of food and drink choices. Give them a go if you make it to Kalispell.

Great place to go out to eat. Wether it’s a couple or a large party great place toGo for a quick decent meal! And lots of options for the kids. They usually have pretty good service too!

Food was sub par. Pizza was on a cardboard pre made crust and was undercooked. Server was was good and friendly. It was a lot better before.

I eat here quite often. It can be a hit and miss. My dish was the Shrimp Linguine ? As you can see from the photo, the oil was outrageous. The flavor was ok but didn't stick to the noodles. The shrimp was delicious as well as the garlic cloves. My husband's burger was good but dry. But the kid's menu is pretty good and reasonably priced.
