Open 24 hours
2141 3rd Avenue East, Kalispell“This is personal. But it’s worth getting it out in the open. 3 years ago I walked into a “open gym” I was considering it. Looking back I leaned on my “highschool” career for credit. In that open gym I did 4x20 lunges 4x20 squats. Wobbled out 1 week of a solid burn. And I decided “that’s what I want. Im not hurt.” During The following year I had a real crisis. I was considering without a bag of an eye Murder suicide. But all I kept getting distracted by was “Beast Athletes”. And I scrolled and scrolled through the coaches. I concluded on one female. “That’s the one I want” I thought in my head.I called one morning. Before I did I told myself “if they don’t pick up, that’s it”. Nobody picked up. And I cried. But then I got a call back seconds later. “What are your goals?” I honestly didn’t know. But the guy knew. “Sounds like overall well being, hold on I’m gonna get you in touch with a coach who has these days but she’s sick”. So I waited. Guy called back “Good news she thinks she can make thet time slot work” Guess who the coach was? “The one that I wanted”. I said 3 months. Again same reason. One “goal” I had was losing weight. I’ve been here 2 years. I’ve grown because of the family vibe. My son said that “this place feels like a family”. I’m really resistant to anything related to family. But there’s just something bout this place. I lifted weight and I realised weight came off. Not physically but mental weight. Trauma. Shame and guilt. And I’m still picking up related weight. gained many lbs in confidence. Even to do 3 powerlifting meets. Opening up. Beast Athletes is a healthy gym to be in. I have said this before but I am “**marked safe” here. You’re safe here. You can cry here. You can have open slitted wrists. and limbs. You matter here. You can discover the ego you have. It won’t surprise your coaches. They’ll simply say “there you are. But let’s work on that”.”
“Love everything about this place! Coach Lisa is the best at motivating and pushing you to limits you didn't think you had. It's a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere, the perfect place for folks looking to start CrossFit! I'd recommend again and again!”
“Got a week pass here while I was visiting Glacier and family. Great place with really awesome staff. One of the better gyms I’ve been to across the country. 10/10”
“I absolutely love this gym! I’ve been a member since December and have taken just over 100 group training classes. They are SO fun, challenging, and my strength/endurance has drastically improved. The trainers are wonderful and bring such a positive vibe to the classes. I love the community feel here and have met so many great people. The front desk staff, owners, and trainers are all a 10/10. Highly recommend!”
“Has more than enough equipment for a great workout. No music, which is great because we can enjoy silence or bring my own audio. There are TVs by the treadmills which can be heard via smartphone. Bathrooms, showers and lockers are functional and clean. Setting up the new account app and the door-unlock app takes a little tech ability, but after that it's super easy. And after set up, you can access the gym any time. Nice place.Update (8-29-23):There is music on today. First time since I started coming about 5 days ago. Not sure which is the norm.”
“Awesome gym. Has all the equipment you could ever need. Great mix of members from pros to soccer moms. Everyone was friendly. Great gym culture. Large individual showers. Clean everywhere.”
“Place is clean and not over crowded. The 24 hour access is a blessing! People are easy to get along with and I've never had the same vibe if yall know what I mean. 10 out of 10 would recomend!”
“Dropped in at CrossFit Flathead while visiting the area on a family trip! Coach Lindsay made the class enjoyable by asking the question of the day which brought the class together. She even offered to let me borrow her personal jump rope if I needed! Thank you for the hospitality! :)”
