Stay far away from this Shop!! I was referred to this shop by a gentleman that I had recently met. The shop I have been using for the past 15 years had a 3.5 week wait. I decided to give these guys a try which was a VERY costly mistake. The truck would only start with Ether starting fluid. My boys picked up the truck and it wouldn’t start. The owner told them that he had left the truck in the shop after they repaired it and started it the following 2 mornings after repairs. The cost of repair was $655 I called the owner and spoke to him in detail about the repairs. His first question to me was, “have you ever owned a diesel truck before?” He then went on to tell me that the truck started fine the following 2 mornings after they had repaired it and went on to say that the truck would start fine if we plugged it in and that it likely didn’t start because the boys had tried starting the truck outside where there was a temperature difference from inside his shop. I asked him what the current temperature was outside and he responded “67 degrees”. My boys arrived home in Bigfork after picking up the truck and it wouldn’t start immediately after turning off the truck. Bottom line, this place is a FRAUD!!

Gary and his crew are THE best!! In recent years I've moved away from the valley and now when I come to visit family I always schedule a visit to Glacier West for any oil change or maintenance thats needed!! Its worth it!! The quality of work and customer service is unbeatable!

First experience using these guys who seemed to be very knowledgeable... truck was in the shop for almost a month and was never repaired. Overall, problem didn’t get solved and I’m looking to find a new diesel mechanic.
