WinCo Foods is a local, employee-owned grocery store that opened on March 3rd at 9am. It operates 24/7 without requiring a membership, offering low prices on a wide variety of items. Customers can pay with cash, debit, checks, EBT, and WIC, but not credit cards. The store features a large selection of products, including fresh vegetables and fruit, bulk candy, nuts, and a deli with a hot case and bakery. The atmosphere is friendly, and the store provides a vintage feel similar to IGA or Sam's Club, with many items on sale and a lot of variety. Despite the good prices, checkout lines can be very long, sometimes over 20 minutes, and customers are asked to bag their own purchases. Some customers have experienced odd interactions, such as being offered candy by an elderly lady, which they found strange. Overall, WinCo Foods is praised for its quality food at cheap prices, though shoppers should be prepared for self-bagging and occasional long waits.
WINCO has fair prices compared to Super 1 & Safeway. Their customer service and friendliness is almost nonexistent & be prepared for LOOONG LINES ALWAYS.

Good prices, but it's too small of a building for the volume of traffic that COULD go through it; the Missoula location feels more appropriate (in regards to size) for the volume of customers than this location. Said plainly: the BUILDING is too small (especially in the back of the store).
