I really wanted to go with a local company, but the service just was not dependable enough to be used for working remotely. All it took was a good wind, snow, or rainstorm to disrupt things. My major complaint though is that once I chose to discontinue service, they would not come out to remove the equipment from my roof! I called repeatedly and finally received a call back saying they would come out to remove things, but it has been over six months, so I highly doubt they will ever be out to take of their mess.

I really support what these guys are trying to do, but my experience with them has been terrible. The first time I tried to get TSI a few years ago some guys came out and checked a signal on the roof. They told me I was in luck and they'd be back soon for install. When I didn't hear from them for a month I called and was told we actually couldn't get service through them.A few years later I tried again and went through the same routine. This time they came out and spent the day on the roof. They put a large hole in the drywall in the office closet trying to install the jack and didn't even mention it. When the install didn't work, they said they'd be back with additional equipment. A week or two later they came and installed a huge mast on the roof with a dish. The installer said they'd be back the next day to do one more thing and it would work. They didn't come, but a couple weeks later I heard noise on the roof and thought, "Oh good, our internet is going to finally work." I thought it was weird when nobody knocked on the door so I went outside to see that they'd just taken their equipment and left. I went on the roof and found four huge lag screws poorly drilled through shingles and into the roof decking. I've never heard from them since. So I'm left with a roof leak and a drywall hole to repair. Would be one star, but as I said, I like what they're trying to do if they managed to pull it off.

I support their case against the city of Helena. The city should be more interested in expanding broadband access and encouraging local businesses than stonewalling technology they are not familiar with. I've been waiting for this locally owned service provider to connect my lines to the street lines for 2 years, all of that is on the City.I worked with this team for months to get non-mega-corpo-conglomerate internet at my home. My initial contact with the team was March 31, and I sent a signed contract on April 3rd, I cancelled my order in early October, 6 months later. I initiated a month's delay mid process, so to be fair the process was really 5 months. I found their team's communication weak, some of their work is low quality, and they over-promise on timelines.update: I sent them a message with my cancellation explaining why and what happened and such. They promised a letter in response within the week. That was a month ago. I still haven't heard anything. I made this a 3 start review initially to be polite, its a small business and just getting started. But they couldn't even meet that deadline, so down to 2 stars I guess. I know there are some businesses that have their service, so once its plugged in the internet is great, but for me, getting it plugged in was a real challenge.Update 2: I just received a hand written letter of apology from Matt (CEO). It is much appreciated, his actions and intent seem genuine. I'm sorry my experience was negative. I hope things go well for this group.

When it works, it's pretty good. We get speeds of maybe 20mbps, which is not great but not bad either. They're local, which is great, and there's no concern with net neutrality. The actual service, though, is spotty. It seems that at least once a month we go through some sort of outage, and that's frustrating. They're still better than the alternative, but shouldn't they strive for more than "better than the alternative?" I mean, to say "well, they're better than Spectrum" doesn't really say a whole lot.
