I am visiting Helena from Bozeman and man, I gotta say, the fish selection here is FANTASTIC! Tanks are clean, fish are healthy with little to no fin damage, unique species, friendly and helpful staff and really impressive knowledge from two of the ladies I spoke to- I wish I had caught their names. Sarah said she was new, and had to catch an absurd amount of fish for us and was awesome to work with. I might just come to Helena for fish instead of bozeman from now on as Bozemans tanks have become sad and theres very painfully small selection. Even the saltwater tanks here are clean, and the fish are healthy. I have spread to word to my fish friends and WILL be returning. Keep the fish community happy, You certainly made our day!

Tobias is always so happy to "go see Joe!" Every time he hears those words, he barks with excitement and looks for his leash. He is always a good boy there, and even though he doesn't like it much, he patiently tolerates Joe getting between his toes.

Purchased some fish here recently and the cashier got annoyed when I asked for an opaque bag to put them in for transport after my purchase, since she wanted to play with the puppy behind me in line instead. Charged me 10 cents for a plastic shopping bag and had to put it on a second debit purchase, yay. Corporate policy 'no exceptions'. When I called to talk with them about it, the manager told me that he would have given me a 'free' transport bag if he was working the register. Seems like a petty way to annoy customers when applied so arbitrarily and makes me question the care they provide to fish when a darkening bag (usually made of paper) isn't initially offered for transport and the customer is charged when asking for one. Decent store overall with very good dog groomers, but the front of store customer service experience is definitely hit or miss depending on cashier's mood or whim on a given day, unfortunately.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The loyalty program is free and easy to use, even allowing returns and exchanges without a receipt. They also offer full grooming services and dog training.
