Murdoch's is one of my favorite stores to shop in. Good customer service & the employees are nice & helpful. Some things are a little over priced but everything is now days.

I was here in early March and was very impressed with this huge store. They have everything from live chickens to clothes. This store is like the old fashioned hardware stores. A little bit of everything under one roof and things that are not found in most stores. I enjoyed looking around. The store is clearly marked but being a first timer and on a time schedule, I stopped an employee to ask if they had cow bells. Instead of saying yes, on isle....he took me directly to the place where they were, then another place in the store where they were on a side cap. I would have never seen these if he had not stopped to help. Very kind, very helpful. I bought my cow bell, two shirts and two gifts while I was there. Prices ranged from good to expensive, depending on what you are looking for. There's a large parking lot in front but no lines marked, so be careful parking! Checkout was fast and easy, several lines open.

Had everything I went for and more. Similar to TSC, or other farmer oriented stores. They have a great selection of work pants available. Real leather belts. The quality is premium, and the prices follow suit. They also have a good selection of things for home-makers as well.

I have limited experience with this store.
I needed to find some quick (galoshes, wellies, rubber boots) due to the mucky ground this past February. Selection was good. Employees were super friendly.
I was in and out in a few minutes with what I needed at the price I expected. Though that amazing boot selection almost got me to make an impulse purchase ?
