We received a ham at Christmas for a gift and it wasn’t the best. BUT !!!! I emailed the company and they sent me a replacement ham. This ham was by far the best ham we have ever eaten and we will be ordering a ham for Christmas this year.
The quality of the product and the attention to customer service are second to none.

Do not let their small retail space fool you. Their hams are the best I have ever tasted. We keep one in the freezer as much as possible. When we use it. I make sure and get to Helena to pick up another. Helena is 90 miles away from my home. They also shop for those of you who do not have a reason to be in Helena. Today I bought 3, one for my home, one for my daughter and one for my sister.

While not the cheapest ham you could order I would say worth every penny, this has been a tradition for Christmas dinners in my family for so very long, and will continue. We love the flavor of the ham hot and even more for left overs cold! We always order a whole ham so we can make different things over the corse of a few weeks after. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you for the delicious tradition.

We purchased a Montana Valley Ham a few years ago because my wife is from Montana. That ham was one of the best hams I have ever had. We purchased a ham a few weeks ago for our family Christmas. We cooked the ham per the instructions that came in the box. We started eating the ham and found that the it unfortunately had no taste. To say we were disappointed is and understatement. For the price we paid for shipping ($120+) and the cost of the ham I would think long and hard before spending the money on this ham.

I was gifted a Montana Valley Ham, and I took it home to my parents for Christmas. What a treat! Easy to follow instructions and a quick warm-up time meant it was ready to go when we came home from Christmas Eve services. We absolutely loved it.

I ordered a whole ham from MT Valley Hams. I have wanted to get one for years! But, the shipping cost was more than the ham itself, so I waited until a friend could pick one up and bring it back to me. I ordered the ham "naked" and in other words, no glaze, no pineapple, no cherries. Come Christmas time with eight guests to feed, I took out the ham to find that it was not naked, it was covered with glaze, pineapple and cherries. They did admit that "yes, that is how you ordered it, it's right here on the order form." I was told "just rinse it off." I did. Cooked the ham according to their web site video, served the ham and nothing. It did not taste like ham at all. No flavor. It was HORENDOUS!!!! So now I wonder . . . is that why they sell all their hams with the glaze and encourage people to buy additional bottles of glaze? Hmmmm - I wonder? I then proceeded to cook the bone for ham and bean soup. Well, no flavor, no ham flavor AT ALL!! I wasted a lot of my time and six cans of beans. Trying to get the soup to have some flavor I even added bacon grease. I have never been more disappointed in my life and believe me, I've been around a lot of years, have bought and cooked a lot of hams too. I Just turned 71.

I’ve been a customer for 40 years. Recently moved back to the valley. I’m really shocked at how poorly I’ve been treated at this store. Deli clerks and cashiers leave much to be desired. Called to speak with manager several times leaving my number, never receiving a response. It’s definitely worth driving the extra miles to town where I’ll be treated better. No one wants to pay to be treated like $h*t

These guys are awesome, their customer service went above and beyond. I ordered an Easter Ham for my kids and grandkids in NY. They tracked it and it wasn't going to make it till after Easter so they overnighted another whole Ham that totally made Easter great! These are the best Hams ever!!!!

Sorry friendly cashiers that we very helpful! The store was a bit crowded with all of the merchandise, but overall was a pleasant experience.
