I was very disappointed with the service we received at this H and R Block office. The agent was friendly and patient with our situation and I believe he would have handled an all-paper transaction competently. However, we had to submit some data electronically and he had absolutely no clue of how to manage those transactions. To his credit, he scheduled several meetings to handle our problems, but the meetings would have been unnecessary had he been technologically aware and up-to-date. For example, when I asked for the link on which to download my scanned receipts, he didn’t know what I was talking about. I can’t claim to be tech savvy myself, having been born long before the advent of computers, but that’s why I pay professionals to advise me. Moreover, when I tried to get help from the manager, she was very dismissive of my concerns and curt to the point of rudeness. She even blocked the emailed message I sent, asking if my information had been received.
I liked the agent with whom we worked, but believe the management of this office to be unprofessional and incompetent. The manager should have been providing support for her personal and her clients, rather than defensively blocking communications. We won’t be using this office again and recommend others go elsewhere, as well.

Waited over 40 minutes after my appointment time to be taken back to do my taxes. Also moved my tax appointment randomly without calling and notifying me.

Went to the Cedar Street one. They were getting a new system, so our tax pro said she would call us. We called two days in a row and never got a call back. Made appointment with another to finish. I understand somebody else started it but it took him forever. Will not be returning to this office
