My husband just got a hair cut and it was unfixable that we had to shave it and all he ask was for long on top and shaved underneath, there was so much hair missing from the back, we are never going back, not even to take the kids

So I had just walked out of Great Clips and made my way to my car. I I had a disappointing experience at Great Clips left feeling unsatisfied. The stylist, Nadia, displayed rudeness right from the moment I greeted her. I thought “Please dont let that be my barber.” Of course it was, I told her how I wanted my haircut. She actually refused and said she was going to do something else. I almost got up at that moment, But if you knew the situation and how bad I needed my haircut, you might understand why I stayed. They had bucket of suckers left over from Halloween at the front desk. I grabbed one and had finished it while she was spraying waterI quickly grabbed one and finished it while she sprayed water on my head. a trash directly in front of me. I pointed towards it, and held my trash towards it, and she Immediately raised her voice Said some things I didn’t understand as she had an accent. Even one of the other barbers looked at me with an apologetic look. It was at that point she walked back over and told me to “quit playing games and hold my head still, I was acting like a kid” The other barbers were laughing, I stood up and turned around and told her I was not going to be treated with such blatant disrespect, I said, how unprofessional and rude she was. She just stared at me. Finally, she said “just sit down”. I said thank you but I’m good and left. Great clips used to be my last resort for a haircut, but thanks to this woman, it's not even an option anymore.

I went in for a haircut. There was a lot of in fighting between staff. F bombs were flying.25.00 later, 5 min in the chair. No haircut.So disappointed. I really need a haircut.

I checked in under my name with a +1 for my kiddo for my husband and my kiddo to get a hair cut. I hadn’t realized it would mess up the system or the appointment but when the woman (I think her name was Bridget) asked me about it I said “oh it’s for my husband and kiddo, I just made the appointment I’m sorry for the confusion.” She was telling me how she was going to fix it, while she was talking I looked over to my husband and said I felt bad for making it complicated and the stylist then yelled “EXCUSE ME!!!” And when I looked back, I told her I was listening to her and she rolled her eyes, told me never mind and stormed off. It made us feel so uncomfortable and I still don’t know why she was so upset. She cut the next persons hair(there was one in Front of us) and then hid in the back until the realllllllly nice guy, Steve, came to get us. Steve apologized for her behavior, but he shouldn’t have felt the need to, she should have apologized herself. She came out after a while and snottily asked if my husband was ready, to which he said did not want a hair cut from her because of how uncomfortable the whole situation was. She also stumbled and ran into furniture and dividers many times. Her behavior was outrageous and I half suspect she had been drinking. If my kiddo didn’t have her heart set on getting it done, we would have walked out the second she yelled at us. I want to be clear that we are incredibly happy with the service we got from Steve and he was so kind and thoughtful with my daughter. But the other stylist was embarrassingly unprofessional. I give Steve a 5/5 but the whole experience was a 0/5.

After 2 salons said they couldn't help me in a wheel chair, I took a chance at Great Clips. They were more than accommodating by moving their chair and cut my hair in my wheel chair. Kudos!

They say they are open until a specific time, and I arrived before the closing time to a business known for their walk in service (30 mins), yet they denied my Wife and I the haircuts. Any place that I have or do work at is open to accepting clientele up to the time of closing, which would be the appropriate choice for good customer service. I would have given this store a one star rating, but I have had good experiences with the brand. I understand the frustration of having customers close to closing time, but that's part of the responsibility, and being someone who knows that feeling, I always tip double when I put someone in that position. If your stylists get burnt out because they work open to close, hire more of them or find better talent. Thanks anyways ?
