I came to Helena Montana 3 years ago during the pandemic so I can get medical treatment for cancer and during this time I ran out of funds didn't have a job and Dave's pawn shop Matt owner's son made it worthwhile it's a great place honest and fair I recommend this place to anybody thank you Matt and everybody

They always have tons of quality gear at affordable prices. Only place in town to find Nintendo products and vintage games and consoles. They have everything you need and zero junk for sale. Best shop in town!

The shop is small but has some good stuff. Tried to work out a deal for a 4x12 guitar cabinet that has been sitting there for awhile and they refused to budge since it was already on “sale”. Not my cup of tea when it comes to a pawn shop but worth a look if you’re in the area.

Absolutely the cleanest, most organized pawn shop I've ever visited. Everything is neatly arranged, fairly marked pricing, and great service. I would recommend checking out Dave's before spending full price on items; when Dave offers everything in excellent condition at far reduced prices as retail. Great find...

As someone who's originally from Portland Oregon and who was stationed on the East Coast during their time in the Navy, I'm unfortunately used to pawn shops being both predatory and very overpriced.To my very pleasant surprise, this does not apply to Dave's based on my first trip into the store. The gentleman working the floor was friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy and the tools and guns were priced at very fair rates (really considered buying a .30-30 that was on the wall).I bought a propane brush burner for $20 that would have cost me at least $40-50 new. The guy working the floor reminded me to keep the receipt and to bring it back in if it didn't work properly for any reason so that they could get me taken care of. I walked away very satisfied with my visit and I'll definitely be popping my head back in occasionally to see what other deals they have on any given week for tools.I don't know how they compare to other places in town for buying/selling coins, precious metals, and jewelry but they definitely have some good deals on gun and tools.

Dave has been amazing working with me on a Garmin device purchased from his store. He went over and above what any normal business owner would have done. I'm so so appreciative that he's a stand up guy who wanted to be sure things were made right. As a result, when I'm looking for anything I can pick up used, I'll be checking in with Dave to see if he's got what I need. Seriously, a rare gem in the person and the business. He'll definitely treat you right.
