I'd write zero Stars if I was able to the guy. Dave is a complete a****** I went and parked at the pump to go. Just be close to the door and grab something and he wouldn't let me buy anything because I was parked at the pump and not getting gas. What a great guy that Dave is. I will never go there again. Worst gas station in Helena!!

I included three pictures of my engine to show just how much time money and effort has gone into this pick up for years. It is a 1998 model.These are the facts. I was taking a trip down to Texas and wanted to get an oil change done because I knew I would go over my miles if I did not,. While it was being done, I moseyed out into the shop. The mechanic was down in the pit cursing and frustrated with my pick up. While I was down in Texas I realized my air conditioning was not working I thought OK I will just have to get it fixed eventually and did not think anything of it.On my way up from Texas my transmission quit working and I noticed there was a big pile of fluid on the ground. I talked to two different mechanics and they told me that when the oil change was done, it was not carefully around my air conditioning lines and my transmission lines. The oil filter has to pass through the passenger side under the fender well etc. etc. Both mechanics told me that my transmission lines just did not come apart all by themselves. I find it very odd that I had no problems with my air conditioning or transmission before I went to Dave’s express. I’m still trying to save up to have my transmission fixed and my air conditioning fixed. Air conditioning will probably cost me $1000. My transmission is going to cost me somewhere between three and $5000.When I confronted Dave’s express. They explained it away just like I knew they would. They tried to tell me that the 2000 pound camper I had on my pick up was a strain on my pick up. LOL. They also blamed it on my transmission lines. This pick up has been hauling and towing trailers for thousands and thousands of miles with no issues long before I went to Dave’s express.Of course they don’t want to pay for a transmission and for my AC to be fixed they said they had video and they would send it to me. Well they never did.These people make plenty of money running their gas station. Mechanics make mistakes all the time and often the car owner gets the shaft.

My friend had gone into Dave's and ended up being harassed by an employee and who they believed to be a manager. They (the employees and manager(?)) were also harassing someone else who was restocking some of their product! After my friend's experience, I don't feel like it would be safe to go there. Would not recommend.

Went las week July 7 to have oil change it includes the car wash and vacuum I was hopping my vehicle is cleaned and vacuumed good when I got home I inspected my vehicle if it's vacuumed I am disappointed that my vehicle is dirty just like it wasn't vacuumed at all so decided to stop by again today to have it vacuumed I waited at the waiting area then the guy told me that it is done I gave the guy a $10 tip when I got home again I inspected my vehicle if it is clean it is the same dirty just like they did not vacuumed my vehicle too bad you just lost another customer I will not go back at here again

I would like the owner to elaborate on exactly what happened if my review is so “inaccurate”.I took my car here initially because my car wouldn’t start. I have my speculations on what the problem could be. Well I get my problem fixed for $120 dollars.My only problem is these guys have the toughest time telling you EXACTLY what they did to your car. And then on top of that, I had to wait weeks for my car to get repaired. These people aren’t interested in doing detailed work. They only do short cuts.First they tell me, “You dropped the car off Tuesday night, not Tuesday morning, so we can’t work on your car for another week.” I freak a little but I keep my cool. At this point I just want to cry.Finally, after waiting another week, I drop my car off again, Tuesday night. Then Wednesday morning I get greeted with “sorry dude, you said it was a clutch issue and that’s a transmission issue. There’s nothing we can do it.” They didn’t even reference me to anyone. I will never come back and gladly spend my money else where.

Russell and his team were absolutely amazing to help out a guy in need. I was stranded on a Saturday morning and they jumped into it with great service and bailed me out of a bad situation as I do not live in the area. I would highly recommend them.

I find it annoying that they are to lazy to put prices next to the products on the shelf. Why should I have to wait till I get to the cash register just to see how much things cost. Only gas station i ever been to that does this. I asked the owner why and he said its to much stuff to put prices next to it. lol

The guys at Daves were truly amazing. They were able to get me in right away and were able to fix something that was purely due to my own stupidity haha. I had been looking for a mechanic that I can trust in helena for a few years, and I can say I will most definitely be going back and recommending them when I can.

We went and got our oil changed. Later we went to a mechanic and the only service they provided was changing the oil. No other fluids were filled and the Air filter was dirty. The receipt we got said all the fluids were filled and the filter was clean. Never going back.
