It was one of the better haircuts I've ever had. I didn't realize how busy they would be and did not make an appointment. My stylist pushed her lunch back to fix my hair. She did an amazing job and told me everything she was doing during it. It came out super clean and exactly like I've been wanting it. Highly recommend, and I will be a continuing customer.
Requested style: They fixed a bad haircut from the week prior.
Hair type: I have thick, wavy hair.

There is nothing posted if you are running late to your appointment on how much time you can be late.. my son was 7 minutes late and they wouldn't see him but the barber was on the phone that's ridiculous you need to have something posted if clients are running late how much time they have to be late I have never heard of such a thing in over 40 years.. Franklin you need to do better maybe if you would get off the phone you would have had time for a fast haircut but no you wouldn't even see him

Needed a haircut as I am attending a funeral on Thursday 4/18. Walked in the place about 6:40P and the main man, Mike, was not there. After cutting a white man hair, I sat down and told another barber I needed a "1" all the way around. Any professional barber has to know what that means. The barber shows me his tool that he was going to cut my hair with. It did not look like a tool to cut hair on a head but a beard shaver. He then with one swipe messed my hair up on the side. I requested another barber with the same instructions and she to messed up the other side with one swipe and added insult to injury by saying she was trying to even things out which means I have two messed up sides with large patches of missing hair. I had been there before so it was uncommon to not get a decent haircut.
They just had finished cutting a black man hair but these two barbers seem not to have a clue or just decided to make a brother look bad. As I told them upon leaving, I'll never go back there and a warning to all-this shop does not have all the tools needed to cut any person's hair that comes in which is a disgrace if one is in the hair industry. Terrible CUSTMER SERVICE.

My son is non verbal ASD and Lauren at Capitol Hill Barber is the only lady I will take my son to see she is absolutely phenomenal! Tons of patience and extremely kind She goes above and beyond to make sure my kiddo feels special.

I went in for a trim. I told the lady how my grandma usually does it. My grandma is on vacation so I couldn’t go to her. I said she cuts layers and thins out my side burns. She didn’t even listen! She cut off so many inches of my hair. It used to be long now it’s to my shoulders. That’s not even what I’m more pissed about. She practically shaved off my side burns so now it looks absolutely horrible! I can’t tuck my hair behind my ear plus I have to have my hair up for work! I’ve never cried over my hair before but today I did. I don’t even know why I gave her a tip. Worst $50 I’ve ever spent.
