Took my cat to get neutered, and they had no problems with the procedure. I'll argue that my cat is just that well-behaved, but the staff definitely treated him with care and comfort as well. Seems like a very loving staff and nice homey feel to the place. If you're looking for a new vet, I recommend giving them a call!

TW; mistreatment of a cat in a vet office. We took my cat here and had a nightmarish experience. First off, the front desk staff never made an effort to call me back at any point during the process of scheduling the visit. Then we get there. We spend a couple minutes in the room with Dr. Steve, during which he talks over both me and my partner. He "took my cat's temp", by which I mean he dipped a thermometer in lube and lazily attempted to take her temp anally, which took him multiple attempts. I even saw him mess with the thermometer while it was *inside* my cat.
Without listening to us he simply recommended, then proceeded to assume we would want, to "do some tests". the lack of detail was horrible. We felt ignored and pressured into letting them take our cat to the back. So we did.
Ten minutes later we read some reviews that specifically mentioned Dr. Steve and decided to pull Steve from the office. Somehow, in 10-12 minutes, they had managed to "complete" all of the tests he had planned and insisted on charging for them.
Then, he calls after some time to explain whatever he thought was wrong, which was fluid in our cat's abdomen, then proceed to ramble off a list of things it could maybe be, without offering any sort of treatment plan or advice. He basically said, "oh, sorry, there is something wrong with your cat. I can't (or wont) do anything about it so she's just gonna die, sorry." The lack of sensitivity or empathy was awful.
Now we are home after taking our cat to Alpine Animal Clinic, where we had a caring team of people involved in her care and they actually provided a real diagnosis and a treatment plan. All without us even having an appointment (granted we were willing to pay the extra for emergency care). It was sad news, but at least we were all treated with respect and compassion.
Our cat is experiencing anal bleeding at home now, no doubt the result of Dr. Steve's prodding around with a stick in our cats butt. she came out of that place, after only ten minutes, scared and stressed with no treatment options.
Do not take you animals here. I will be going to Alpine's reviews to give them 5 stars now. I hope this helps you make an informed decision on where to take your loved ones for care.

Caring & considerate. No such thing as an inexpensive vet, but these folks care about my putties as much as I do! That's what counts.

The only VET I would ever tell anyone to go to. They were so kind when having to have my friends cat euthanized.

Doctors are awesome! Front office staff horrible. If they expect to offer their exceptional DOCTOR services to our community they need to do something about their front office staff. After being a established customer for more than 10 years they refused to see my dog that was in distress from swallowing god only knows what and needed help. I was told they don't do emergency services anymore to call around to other vets and would probably have to go out of town. The receptionist's last words were "Good luck" I later asked for my dogs records which they were happy to help with and would email or mail me copies. Hmmm... Not an established patient? Maybe I haven't spent enough money (thousands) at their clinic to be established. Never the the less my dog swallowed a small pinecone and if I hadn't sought services elsewhere which practically there was not to be had ....that my dog would have died within two hrs without medical attention. A well established business with a exceptional reputation needs to keep up to date by INVESTING in new technology (equipment & supplies) and offer exceptional customer service where the front office is definitely lacking. They CAN afford the investment and then truly claim they offer compassionate care for your pet.

Thank you for taking care of our pup Phoenix. You and your staff are amazing. After being turned away from 6 other vets, your office never hesitated to welcome us and figure out what to do for her. Thank you. I wish I could give you a 10 star ⭐ rating

I would give 5 stars if they would accept Care credit.
I waited 3 years to get into this vet. I'm finally in for my Chow and I just love the doctor.
They really made me feel relaxed.
He is so nice and I enjoy taking my dog there.
Worth the wait!

We were recently referred by a very close friend as our German Shorthaired Pointer was having symptoms of coughing and we knew something was wrong.
After contacting you we were given medication to help her. After receiving care and treatment our little Roxie is symptom free and back to her self running and wagging her tail and happy.
We just wanted to say thank you for your help and the support in her care. We couldn’t be happier.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and I felt confident in the expertise of the veterinarians. I would definitely recommend this vet place to other pet owners.
