Doctors and staff are all first rate - so why did I take off stars... During the visit it is recommended that we have a teeth cleaning performed. After the checkup the Tech comes back and explains the teeth cleaning is going to cost $1,100+. Looking at the cost out some of the items make sense however there are items like blood work and bone scan (these two items made up more then 50% of the cost). Since an issue was identified I would like to get it taken care of but I would like to do it without those two items (making the cleaning $600ish). I was told that is not an option - so in effect I am told that my animal has a health issue but it will only be addressed if I pay for the procedure plus... I walked away feeling that charging for services was more important than caring for animals... I wish the approach was "here is the base cost of the procedure...we would recommend also doing the following"... I have been going to the clinic since it opened...this is a trend that has been going on for years and is sad to see...In some ways I feel they have lost their way.

Dr. Majerus and her tech Brittaney are absolutely terrific. I am new to town, and chose Alpine because they offer after hours emergency care. I have an anxious dog with a complicated health history. We have been to a LOT of vets. Some are curious and interested in digging in to find answers, others are dismissive and lack nuance. A few are just flat out bad at handling dogs with anxiety. Dr. Majerus is very much the former. She was generous with her time, thoughtfulness, and expertise. She and Brittaney both super smart AND they did a beautiful job easing my dog's vet office related stress. I left Alpine Vet filled with gratitude and hope! Thank you, Dr. Majerus and Brittaney.

The only reason this isn’t stars is because it was super expensive. Just the exam is $400 but they are super professional and kind. My cat had a uti and the vet was knowledgeable and helpful. They even called a few days later to check on her.
EDIT: I have updated my review to five stars. I have had emergencies with both of my dogs and Alpine was awesome! I’m so thankful they are here. Note you may be able to do an urgent care visit which is less expensive! The vets are incredible as is the rest of the staff. Thank you Alpine!

We just started going to Alpine with our new puppy. They always take their time to answer all our questions. Everyone is super friendly, caring, and knowledgeable! Very impressed with their service.

I take my 2 dogs and cat to Alpine. They always take good care of us, caring and thorough. Quickly got us in when we had a scare with our German Shepherds' health.

I brought our 12 year old cat who was sick over weekend. She was seen by Dr. Ryan. She did evaluation, explained her diagnosis, and outlined options.
I was very satisfied with the service we received.

My dog has had urgent visits, annual visits, biopsies, and dental appointments with Dr. Hogue and I'm always so impressed with the care. You can tell everyone truly loves animals here.
