Needed a quick over night and this was perfect. Pulled right up to the curb and plugged in. Water spicket right at the site also. So convienent! Easy in and out! Several restaurants very close! Walk right across the street. We ate at Uncle Joe's. It was good. Drove thru town this morning and really cute!

I usually only go to the emporium for all my needs whether it be last minute dish soap, the laundry mat or just to relax in the casino. The staff has always been great but I was treated kind poorly by a taller gentleman in glasses working cashier on two occasions now. Typically I spend a lot of money at the emporium on a week to week basis being it's the only store I really go to, the lack of customer service is soon to lose a customer. I get we all have bad days, leave it at the door.

For a place to fill up, and a convenience store to pop into, the Emporium is probably one of your better bets in town, especially if you're coming into Havre from the east and just want to keep driving. However, in terms of it's function as an RV park, I've got serious mixed feelings. It's the most expensive place to camp in town, but perhaps that's because of the amenities: year-round availability; access to the neighboring hotel's swimming pool and sauna; the laundry facilities located at the back of the convenience store; private full bathrooms; friendly staff, and, of course the gas station being right there. There are reasons why I can't give more than 3 stars, though. First reason for a lost star is the camper bathrooms. I don't like their location, especially at night. It was kind of scary to go there, especially as a woman, and I don't think it's lit well enough. I think management relied WAY TOO MUCH on these awful automatic sprayer things to keep the bathrooms smelling nice. But they'd spray on YOU, and then you'd sink like them. A much better solution would be to actually CLEAN those bathrooms more frequently. Like, more than once a day. The second reason (buhbye star 2) is the location of the business itself. It's sandwiched between the train tracks and Highway 2. If you have sensitive hearing and little kids like I do, it was sometimes an exercise in agony between my ears and my fears for my kids safety.... both from the traffic and any potential kidnappers or sex traffickers. Summary: For gas and goodies, it's great, but for RV camping, there are other choices I'd pick first.

I was very disappointed. $42.50, and all the amenities are in the hotel. The site I was assigned was for a 35' rig, but my 26' RV would barely fit. The sites are all on concrete, and none are level. Sprinklers run all night and are placed very inconveniently. The one on my spot sprayed right into my generator compartment. Lots of garbage strewn about the street was very unappealing. Campground wi-fi was not strong enough to reach my site, which was quite close to the office. Trains and traffic noise were quite bothersome. I won't stay there again.

We prebooked as we were on our way to Yellowstone. Nice little camp ground with access to the hotel pool. One of the sites water tap was leaking profusely and it ran down the street into our site. But not a deal breaker! It was quite, easy to access. It's attached to a gas stations with several amenities.
