I recently moved to Hamilton and have attempted to fill my monthly prescriptions here twice now. Last month and now this month, picking up my prescriptions have been more difficult than any where else I’ve ever filled. It takes multiple calls to my doctor and multiple trips to the pharmacy and trying to explain my prescriptions to the techs to get anywhere. Not to mention the pharmacy techs are incredibly rude. Similarly to another review I saw for this pharmacy, one of my 30 count prescriptions only had 21 pills — I was shorted 9. I will not ever fill here again.

1) I called ahead so they could have my prescriptions ready before I arrived and they told me it would be ready by noon. I got there at 12:30 and it wasn't ready. They told me to wait 15 minutes. 25 minutes later I finally got it. 2) I got switched off of generic and onto a brand name on one of my prescriptions without me knowing it which cost me quite a bit extra. I had to figure this out myself because when I called they just told me to call my insurance and ask why it cost more. They sounded annoyed that I was bothering them by asking. 3) My prescription is for a three month supply at a time on all three of my prescriptions but they decided to just give me a 50 day supply at a time on one so that they can just give me an unopened bottle and they don't have to count them. This means more trips to the pharmacy for me. 4) I'm working out of town most of the time and don't want to plan my itinerary around pharmacy visits. Therefore, I try to keep all prescriptions on the same schedule. This is virtually impossible due to the fact that they keep giving me partial refills. Needless to say, I will be switching pharmacies immediately.

I've had multiple prescription medications be short now, even when requesting they double count, just to be asked if someone could be taking them without my knowledge, yet I live alone, unfortunately it has happened on 4 occasions now so ill be switching pharmacys

The retail store is great, just like any Walgreens. They usually have things in stock and it's great to have this store in town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lines are long sometimes. I'm not sure how people can fill a grocery shopping cart at a Walgreens but that's not a problem with the store, just a fyi. I did drop an old disposable camera off to be developed 6+months ago and haven't heard back. They said it would take a while so maybe it's still coming. The pharmacy on the other hand is shockingly terrible. On multiple occasions, I get a message in the app that my prescription is delayed and I've waited up to 1 week and then called for an update. I've been told that: they don't use the app, they don't know how the app works, that reasons for my prescriptions being delayed are it isn't covered by my insurance (not true), it needs a preauth (not true), then that it is covered but it's not FDA approved (?? These are basic scripts), also just the general "oh idk what happened or why it was delayed". You could be waiting on important meds for over a week for no reason. It ...is baffling. I love Walgreens but I switched to a local pharmacy in the area for my prescriptions. I don't have any problems at other pharmacies so I don't think any of the issues I've seen with Walgreens are valid.

This rating is specifically for the pharmacy. Service is super slow and I agree with another review that they do not seem to care about the customer. Additionally, on two occasions they have misplaced the hard copy of my prescription. When I come here to get my medication, I also get a majority of my toiletries and love their selection. Unfortunately, I have been asking others for referrals in hopes to find a new pharmacy that can fulfill my needs.

Walgreens is a good Pharmacy even though I like to support the little guys Walgreens has better prices and they take a wide variety of discount cards which differ from insurance these are for people without insurance and using one of these cards I received 80% off of my prescription recommended:-)

The associates went above and beyond to fix an insurance issue I had, they really seemed to care about me as a person. There are times I go there and it is very busy but they still do the best they can to make sure I am taken care of even with little amount of staff they have.
