So frustrated with this company. I've had nothing but issues with equipment, service, communication and billing. None of the issues I was experiencing got resolved the first time. I had to make several trips there for each issue.

I lived in Montana for nearly twelve years. I have used the services of many companies over the years. Some really great, others complete garbage. Until I used Charter Spectrum, I had not honestly known that worse than garbage could exist. I never missed a payment, bills were always paid 5 days early, but their auto payment system puts you two months behind on bills, and when you cancel service, even after turning in your equipment at the local store and getting a receipt, they turn around and bill you for non existant charges and services. They said I owe 250 dollars because, though I canceled my service and paid my bill in full ( the bill was 43.33 every month. I only had internet without added router) and moved out. They never shut off the service despite claiming they did, so someone else who moved into that apartment continued to use service in my name unknowingly. Once I discovered this, I lodged a formal complaint with the U.S. consumer affairs borough, office of the attorney General of Great Falls MT, filed a formal grievance with the Federal Trade Commission D.C field office AND sent Charter Spectrum an official certified delivery letter of cease and desist . They later on had the service terminated but refused to recind the unlawful bill. Do not use Charter Spectrum. They are, without a doubt, the worst company . No one uses satellite dishes for the internet. Only TV service. Charter Spectrum is the ONLY company in the world that uses satellite dishes for the internet. Research satellites. You'll understand. Charter Spectrum is without morals, scruples, and has no understanding of how to be morally conscious. In a time where " quality customer service " is lacking the "quality, Charter Spectrum is lacking the understanding of what "customer service " even is.

Very horrible customer service. The agent was very judgemental and did not want to listen to me. Last I checked this was America and we have the right to change our minds and cancel the service.

Roommate was moving and out we went to switch the internet. I requested the same internet that we were sharing previously under his name. This is where the issue comes in I was sold the "fastest internet" and not the same internet. There was nothing wrong with the plan we originally had. Thankfully before we left he mentioned that my internet was going to cost $30 more than what we were previously paying and that is with the "$30 discount". Now we're stuck here longer to fix it. What an absolute inconvenience and not to mention deceiving. Thank God I'm getting credit and not a refund. How very annoying.Internet works just fine. Pay attention to the up sell.

Waste of time. Worker kept calling me “honey” in a stupid derogatory way and asking me questions like I was dumb for having an account with my husband. Waited for 20 minutes to be talked down to.

Went today (1 August 2023) to Great Falls location to see about why my bill went up $20 and to see if there was something that can be done, and there was nothing. She didn't even look into it even after I showed her my military ID card. I then chatted with someone online and they saved me $30 a month for simply being military. Just took some admin time by Vanessa online to help me out.

Killed the internet at midnight shutting it was routine maintenance. Replacing a damaged fiber optic line. I'm not the one that damaged it, yet I get to have no internet for up to 6 hours during the repair while operating a 24/7 taxi service. It's ok, it's only drunks calling. I'm sure they will just drive when they can't reach us.....

Everyone local avoids going into the store. The wait times are long, the internet service is expensive garbage.I dropped their phone plan as soon as the contract was up. I feel bad for the employees who work there. I am sure their coporate overlords are paying them peanuts compared to their paychecks. Awful awful company and service.

The store itself is nice. The people there are nice. Spectrum as a business is criminal. They will bill you for a full month, even if you move or disconnect part way through. They are the only option here besides dish and they treat you accordingly. Service drops a couple times a month at least, and they don't compensate for that either. Good luck.
