I consider myself most fortunate to be a newparticipant in Neghborwoks. The positive energy and genuine efforts of everyone invoved to educate and encourage people in the community towards home ownership and independence stands out. The class and the speakers were fantastic in the information and presentation. Also my fellow participants gave me a feeling that I was in a positive community in the class. I took one of the pet softballs as a reminder of just one aspect of home ownehip. I can't thank everyone enough. I now have a tangible goal and the help to get there. Thank you so much.

Did not help at all, mostly hurt. Wasted precious time, efforts and money, vwas given empty promises, ended with negative result.Bureaucracy involved makes me think, that they just provide illusion of help, as no way in the world anything governmental can be helpful or functional. In our case "help" was promised MONTH later, than needed, that's after completing idiotic courses, paying fees (no refund obviously), getting useless certificate. And nobody warned about them being slow beyond grave, they just dragged dead cat on tail and wasted our time. How it ended for us? We were left in a situation, when you need to find 10K in 3 days. All because for almost a month NeighborWorks told us:"don't worry, you are all set and good". And ditched us the ugliest way possible in the end. Response? "We can't do anything, as we actually don't do anything ".If applying for anything, keep in mind: they do NOT care and they are very-very-very slow.

I easily was able to rent their 2 bed 1 bath duplex on 8th. Loved the location. Close enough to 10th without hearing the traffic. Easy access to downtown. Started the rental process from out of state and property management worked very well with me on doing so. Ended up having to move back out of state and drop the lease. Property management again worked well with me through that whole decision. Anytime we had a maintenance issue they were there right away. They were incredibly considerate when it came to anything involving needing to be inside the unit with my pets and me not being able to be home. Will definitely look into renting from them again if I am ever back in GF and needing a place. I'm always recommending them to friends and family around town. Easily one of my favorite rental units and management teams!

I participated in the Self-Help program in 2010. In this program, you build your own home with 9 other families. While building a home we were also building a community. I had the opportunity to work with the people who would become my neighbors, and later, friends. It was a lot of work, but I learned so much from this experience and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. The NeighborWorks staff were beyond amazing in providing the guidance and support in helping me become a homeowner. It's a great place to start if you're needing Financial Coaching or want to be a homeowner. Highly recommend!

I think the whole setup was pretty shoddy. I signed up entered in all my information and it made me re-enter it in every three or four days every time I entered the website it told me I had to refill out my forms they complained that I sent too much information saying I had sent enough and finished my class and that there was nothing left for me to send in but then I was left questioning then where do we go from here I've already talked to someone on the phone and had counseling I finished the class I had to pay for they had all my information nobody communicated to me what to do with all of this do I take the screenshot of the website to a home seller and impress them with my $99 class? I went to a finance company and they were able to do all the same sort of finance stuff without me taking the class or having to pay any fees.

Without NeighborWorks Great Falls I would not have known where to start in the home buying process and would not be the proud and successful homeowner I am today! They helped me learn the whole process from start to finish, helped me learn to budget as a homeowner and were very helpful with any questions or concerns I had!Highly recommend checking out the services they offer regardless of what stage you are in!
