I had a very poor experience with this branch. I rented a car for one day, it worked fine everything was uneventful until we returned it. I admittedly did not inspect the vehicle before I left which was a big mistake. After I returned it they called and wanted my insurance companies info. I asked why and the said there was a cracked fog light on inspection. I certainly hadn't hit anything but told them I would just pay for the damage as it would certainly be less than a deductible. Later I got a bill for $1600!!! They had replaced the fog light, a new tire, new wheel and a tailight. Billed me for several days of lost rent, vehicle loss of value and a $100 admin fee. I called and them and tried to reason with them but they were not interested in anything but me footing the bill. I (nor my company) will ever use National again.

National customer for years - ended with my last rental i reserved a mid sized SUV months in advance - arrived at destination no vehicle and several others with similar predicaments - no vehicles I waited for over an hour and finally was forced to take a pickup truck - which really sucked for a family of 4 with luggage Never again

I rented a car from National, for business. I paid for the complete insurances. I was told I was covered for everything. I lost the keys. Apparently lost keys are not covered by insurances. I understood that it was my fault. But even if it was my fault, I was expecting some kind of help to resolve the situation. I had absolutely no help. Employee on the phone when I called was unprofessional and the manager refused for me to get the car towed to the airport location, while I would have kept paying the rental until keys would be provided from a dealer in Missoula. Because of the manager's refusal to help, I had to extend my stay for 5 days more, re-book plane ticket, miss a conference I had prepaid for, to wait for the key fob to arrive: all in all they made a small mistake turn into a full fledge traumatic, much more costly than it should have been nightmare. Again I was taking full responsibility for my mistake. But I was provided no help by the National manager and she made it much worst than it needed to be.
