What, this can't be a Super 8! Loved the non-carpeted room although they did say they had rooms that were carpeted. Although we didn't bring our dogs, the wood floor and doggie treats catered to pampered pooches. Bed was comfy and the bathroom excellent. Lobby had delicious food vendor and a really convenient store across the street. Was minutes from Yellowstone. Truly the nicest Super 8 I've ever stayed in.

This review is for the ice cream only.Nothing short of phenomenal!I arrived after the shop was closed, but the hotel clerk - bless him! - graciously opened the shop up to let me in on the treasure! The flavors were mind blowing - key lime pie, tre leches, Ferraro Rocher… and more! Even popsicles of some incredible flavors! Just an incredible selection and quality - handmade by the hotel owner.Don’t miss this place!

Unfortunately you can hear every sound from the next room. Ac quite loud . Although room was clean it just was old. No cleaning or fresh towels. Coffee weak. Small donuts and tiny muffins for breakfast. Excellent location 4 min. From north entrance

Great for a Super 8! My wife and I loved that there was a spacious mini fridge with a separate freezer as we were traveling with her Service Dog who does eat a partially raw diet. Having a microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of outlets was also a major plus for us!The room, linens, and towels were perfectly clean and definitely provided a nice place for us to rest after our days of adventuring in Yellowstone! We also loved the convenience of where it was located!Unfortunately the only working ice machine was located in the main office which was quite a ways from our room and was inconvenient; but, we noticed there were signs posted for people to NOT use the ice machines to fill their coolers so we understood people had probably abused the privilege of the ice machine which is why the hotel probably shut all the others off.The front desk staff was amazing, kind, and very respectful of my wife’s Service Dog (which we greatly appreciated since that doesn’t happen everywhere we travel).Overall we would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying here again!

Jay hooked us up with our late night check in! He was an absolute gem. Awesome smile, so kind! This hotel was our little safe haven. We booked last minute because we were in over our head trying to find a campsite outside of Yellowstone and we were so tired from the day’s driving. The free coffee and muffins in the morning was a big trip booster too!

The room was clean, spacious, and the linens and towels were also clean! The cover behind the shower faucet was cracked most of the way around making the shower difficult to turn on and off, but it did work. The bathroom was a bit shabby, and just ok and standard. It was nice that it did have a microwave and refrigerator. You could hear the people walking above you abd sometimes next door but otherwise it was fine. The staff was friendly and the location to Yellowstone North entrance was perfect.Walkability: The local grocery was across the street. Also it was within walking distance of the rafting companies. Quick 3 minute drive to the center of town with the restaurants and shops. And 4 minutes to the park entrance.

Can't get much closer to the north entrance. You cam be at the park entrance within 5 min. Elk graze directly around the hotel. Nothing fancy but it is a convenient clean bed and shower for the night. Breakfast was provided but most basic of our trip.

Nice, spacious, clean rooms. Front desk staff was very friendly. I was happy to have a bigger separate freezer attached to the mini fridge instead of inside the fridge like most others because I was able to re-freeze some of my cooler ice packs. Great location in town near a grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, and of course easy access to Yellowstone National Park.

Nice for a Super8. Desk person in afternoon was very polite and courteous, and apologetic when we couldn't check in early (we arrived unexpectedly early.) When we had a maintenance issue, it took a while to get resolved because he couldn't get in touch with the maintenance person, but once he arrived, it was resolved quickly. Breakfast was simple, but nice to have. You are paying for the location - so close to Yellowstone - and it is right across the street from the local grocery store, so that was very handy.Rooms: Seemed updated.Walkability: Lots of things nearby, including restaurants and the local market.

A fine hotel. Everything was just right. If you are looking for luxurious well I don't know if there is luxurious in Gardiner.... Maybe there is but are you there for a hotel or a place to stay to see the real attractionsSolid in my opinion for a nice place to stay.

This is a pretty typical super 8. Clean and fairly quiet. Good prices, nice people. As mentioned the breakfast was pretty much juice and muffins, but they were good ?Parking lot is very crowded. Which seems typical for the entire town.Very close to the park entrance.I’d stay here again

Located within walking distance to the park entrance. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. Just beware...you are a long way from any discount stores or chain restaurants. Bring lots of ?. Not much for breakfast but better than nothing. Older A/C units are very loud. One of the most scenic views and that alone raised the rating to 5 star value.

They don't serve breakfast or have silerware available, only muffins and frozen food that you can buy. Check in is at 4pm and check out at 10am. Room were updated, no carpet, clean and beautiful view of the mountains.Overall would recommend!

We stayed in Gardiner because of the awesome location and how close it is to the north entrance to Yellowstone (less than half a mile!) In Gardiner itself there are maybe 5 restaurants and most close at 9pm so it's something to consider. Right across the street from the super 8 is a really nice grocery store with a hot case with breakfast sandwiches in the morning and lunch and dinner items throughout the day along with any other typical grocery store stuff! In our room we had a mini fridge and microwave. I'm not concerned about them not coming to clean my room during our 5 night stay because most hotels don't really offer that service anymore and it doesn't bother me. If we needed more towels we just asked the front desk and they were more than happy to help! The beds were comfortable and the hotel itself seemed clean. The walls are thin so you can hear everything but we spent most of our time in Yellowstone and people were quiet at nighttime. There is parking lot right out front and parking is free and if it fills up there is ample street parking directly in front of the parking lot! They are strict on the 4pm check in, no early check in which the little town is just down the street so you can shop or eat while you wait to check in! Overall if we were ever to visit Yellowstone again we'd stay here again!
