We stayed at the 406 lodge for a long weekend. The owners are great to work with. They got us all checked in and gave us some great food recommendations. The rooms were clean and very nice. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Great hidden gem in Gardiner. We stayed 6 nights in a cabin. Clean, comfortable, and plenty of room for two.

very nice experience. very clean and cozy. would definitely recommend, although a bit pricey. but it is right outside Yellowstone, which is definitely worth it. the parking lot is a bit tight, but the town itself is quite small. the wifi was not very reliable our first 2 days here, but Sunday was way better, which was great as we were watching our church livestream! the rooms are relatively quiet, although the TV of the neighbor is right behind the beds, so that can be loud. but the fan can help with sound.
Nearby activities: Yellowstone is right outside the door!
Walkability: food and souvenirs are close by
Food & drinks: they don't provide any food but there is a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, along with a few dishes.

Right at the NW entrance of Yellowstone. Easy to walk around town. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable.

Such a cozy place! I can't imagine a better place to stay in Gardiner, it just has the perfect mood for Yellowstone, super comfortable and nice.Nearby activities: Gardiner is very small, you can walk everywhere or ride 2 minutes.

We spent two pleasant nights at 406 Lodge in July while on vacation. 406 is conveniently located in a building that looks as if it was converted into a small inn. We had a first floor room.The room was much larger than we expected. It was simply appointed with appropriate cowboy decor. A small kitchen with a sink, small fridge, and microwave was located at one end of the room. It was equipped with the basics. The bath offered plenty of fluffy white towels and the bare minimum of toiletries, Over all, the room was comfortable and squeaky clean.There was no manager on site, but we had no problem reaching him when we had a question. The location was quiet, but we were in Gardiner when their entrance into Yellowstone Park was closed, so the town was essentially dead.We had no view from our room, but perhaps the folks on the second floor did.

What a amazing week we had at the 406 Lodge Cabin ! The cabin was so comfortable, cozy, clean and was so easy to make it home our for the week. The 100 year Flood at Yellowstone National Park did not slow us down. This was our first time in Montana but hopefully not our last. Thank You to “The Knight’s” for all of your hospitality ! You are wonderful hosts !

I've stayed here twice and will not stay anywhere else in Gardiner! It is family run, the rooms are impeccably clean, kitchenettes are great, rooms are very cozy, and very reasonably priced!

Great place! Comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen, nice views! And I was able to plug in my car which is a win! The only improvements would be installing 14-50 outlets so people can charge their car faster and explore more of the area. Also, more hooks for towels and things!
